You're better off waiting to see the actors in person
This business has some absolutely shady practices, which other reviews can attest to. Their customer service is a joke, and seemingly consists of whoever in the office is available, rather than hiring even one single person to dedicate to helping their customers. But they have plenty of time to send a bloated email at least 5 times a week advertising a dozen random shops where you can BUY things. Not to mention their Twitter account is a joke. Constant bloated posting with actually very little engagement; the actors they advertise don't even RePost their own ads for their shops. They also frequently leave out major/main characters when advertising their actors, like no one is doing research at this company on who their talent is, what their most well known roles are, and how to effectively promote them. All they care about is taking your money and literally running. Their subscription service is a joke, and one cannot cancel without emailing their basically non-existant customer support. The add-ons they try desperately to push aren't even always guaranteed or fulfilled, no matter what their website says. Their staff don't seem to be very experienced in dealing with people or organizing the type of signing events that are literally all the company does. They need to hire some bodies that have actual real experience from in-person convention events where these same type of signings happen (except somehow they're more well organized in a room with hundreds of people than they are in the dining room of an actor with just a chat room). Do not be fooled! The premise of this business is very tempting and seems like a good thing that's accessible to all, with lots of promising perks. It's all a fancy scam to get your money. Yes, it's undeniable they do sometimes deliver, but the negative feedback available publicly is frankly astonishing. They only function because there is no similar business and literally no competition in their current market. The actors on the site are just trying to earn income to provide for their families and honestly must have no idea how this business is actually run and how customers are treated. They do the majority of the work interfacing with buyers and taking time out of their lives to do signings, so the least Streamily could do would be to not make their talent look like jerks. Judging by some of the reviews from 2021 and prior, feels like the company started out strong and then got too big for their britches. Either that or they mismanaged their funding so much they had to make employee cut backs. With all the actors they have listed on the site, they have to be making thousands daily. And they can't afford to hire dedicated customer service?
