Good service. Attentive, thoughtful coaches

Quality coaching and an easy to use service. Used the fortnightly plan during a 2.5 month job transition and found the 6 sessions to be exactly what I needed to keep on pace and in control.

Depending on your mileage, getting back in the job market can be overwhelming, especially now. Having someone knowledgeable to talk to, check in on my progress, recommend activities when I feel stuck -- Makeda has been invaluable.

I heard about strawberry.me from a targeted ad, and I signed up when I needed it the most during a career transition and one of the points in my life where I was in a bit of a struggle I did one I did one coaching session, it didn’t quite land and as I canceled, I saw your profile that was matched and suggested to me. I still continue to cancel, but screenshot of the profile And realize that I wanted to come back so when I did, I signed up with the coach that I had been prompted to meet with when I was canceling, and it turned out to be truly the most transformative meeting to ever happen in my life I’ve met a coach who is exactly what I need. He helps me—not just by being a cheerleader, but give constructive guidance and coach me into making positive life changes within my relationships and career.

Strawberry’s platform is very easy to navigate. I can reschedule sessions and message my coach with ease. The sessions themselves are always productive and efficient. My coach is a great listener and is always helpful in helping me think through situations, and the exercises she assigns between sessions don’t take too much time but are always helpful and give us a lot to talk about in our calls. I am really grateful for Strawberry’s work to make career coaching more accessible.

Three sessions later and my view of the workplace I’m in did a 180, there is so much more nuance than you’d expect when you’re not happy with your job. Turns out my outlook was hurting me equal to, if not more, than the job overall. My coach has been exceptional about extracting what is already good about who I am at work and then building on that. This has been way more insightful and helpful than I expected from an instagram ad.

The questionnaire about your reasons for looking for a coach and your expectations is clear and avoids the typical pop-psychology type of questions. What Strawberry.me also does well is that you can define your preference for the kind of coach you are looking for, including those who are specialized or have experience with your character type, which is especially important if you are neurodivergent. You also always have the opportunity to switch your coach if you feel there is a mismatch. The entire system is built well, making it easy to follow the process. Notifications and reminders for your next session are sent at the right time and never feel excessive. My experience with Strawberry.me has been great. I was surprised that my coach had actually read and understood what I wrote during the initial intake, and then built the sessions and adjusted their communication style accordingly. What really makes Strawberry.me different from my other coaching and therapy experiences is that there are in-between check-ins, which makes you feel supported instead of being left waiting until your next session. Overall, if you are looking for a place to find your path, whether in your career or life in general, Strawberry.me is absolutely worth a try.
