Overall I did have a good time with my expert. He was able to help guide me and sort out some of my thoughts. I do not know if this is a really good source for figuring out what you are interested in doing next, it's more like helping you plan when you already know what you really want to do next. If you are stuck and are unsure whether you should continue the same career or change paths then they may help a little bit but ultimately that'll be your decision.

I had so much support in learning on how to communicate my needs to my boss, figure out what my strengths are, gaining support on how to get the most out of conferences. They also have many worksheets prepared to give you time to think about your own skills, imposter syndrome, and many others!

The coach doesn't necessarily tell you what to do, but may give you activities or ask questions to help you discover what works best for you. I found it useful to use when I knew I needed a change, if you're looking for someone to talk to that is open to new things.

I love the coach I have been paired with at strawberry and the service overall is legitimate and super helpful! The thing I do not like about strawberry is the lack of transparency and information on payment options. You are still charged even if you skip a session, which is understandable as you can still message your coach and benefit from the service, however you are only reimbursed if you message them and ask them to credit your account. There should be an easier way to defer payments if a session is postponed, and this information should be easy to find for people using the service. I hope they make those improvements moving forward.

I spend a big chunk of each day talking to AI, so a human coach seemed like a good counterpoint. After all, AI is a real suck-up, and tells you what you want to hear. I felt I needed a human coach to keep me living in the real world.

The coaches are really experienced, and you can tell they care about their job. The added accountability and structure has really helped me as someone with ADHD. The only shortcoming right now is that there can be issues in the calls when sharing screen, which has led to a couple sessions being cut short. However, for the most part, it works great and is really helpful for me!
