SCAM
Me and my friend are both minors (17 and 16). A man named leo stopped us by saying "excuse me you dropped your smiles." We were confused because we thought we had actually dropped something. It was hard to understand him because of his thick Italian accent. He started talking us up, asking our ages and names and we couldn't leave. He made us feel very uncomfortable and scared. He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his seat and started putting some type of hair serum in my hair. He started using a brush that he said was heatless and then styled my hair in a couple of different ways. He made my friend "judge" my hair and kept making her get closer to him. She was uncomfortable. He said if we bought just the over priced hair cream, he would give us the hair comb and brush for free as a "gift". We tried to say no but he was very persistent. He wouldn't let me get out of the chair until I agreed to buy something. We bought it just so we could leave. The hair serum alone was $130. When we got out of the situation, we realised how messed up it was. We went to return the items. We still have the receipt and the same card we used to purchase the hair serum. It had only been 30 minutes, so the products hadn't even been opened. He pointed to a no refund sign and refused to take it back. The no refund sign was pointed down at an angle to the point where we couldn't even see the words, and we are both short. When we got home, I tried it and it was absolute crap. It was not a good product and was heated when he clearly stated that it was heatless. We want our money back. From what we have seen from other reviews, he seemed to target young girls. If you got to castleton mall and you come across an Italian man with blue eyes named Leo, don't even sit down because he will force you to buy the product. Stay safe, ladies!

Hello Jordan,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and understand how important it is to feel confident in your purchase.
We want to clarify that Straight Ahead Beauty is the manufacturer of the product you purchased, but we are not the retailer that sold it to you. As a manufacturer, we work with independent businesses that operate kiosks and retail locations across the U.S., and they handle their own pricing, promotions, and sales interactions. This means that while we create and stand behind the quality of our products, we do not process transactions, retain customer funds, or oversee individual sales practices.
That being said, your satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we never want you to feel disappointed with your experience. While we are unable to issue refunds (as we do not handle the original sale), we would be happy to offer you a replacement product to ensure that you receive a high-quality item that meets your expectations.

Don't buy Straight Ahead products at EXPRESS BEAUTY LLC kiosk
I purchased a Straight Ahead flat iron today from BEAUTY EXPRESS LLC kiosk at the Holyoke Mall in Holyoke Ma. Just like everyone else, I got sucked into buying this item. The only difference is, I genuinely thought the girl who did my hair and was talking to me actually cared. We connected and she made me smile because my hair looked amazing. And she offered to give me a discount, and then another one. The price went from $370, but there was a sale for the Jewish holiday they just had. (There was a Jewish Holiday last month and next month, none this month). So the price was $199, BUT she can give me her hairdressers discount and get it down to $99. Sounds very similar to the many reviews on Trust Pilot and BBB after fact. But it's $50 charge for the lifetime warranty that you HAVE to pay for (I should have known better that the product comes with a lifetime warranty and it is not separated charged if the box already offers it). I'm presuming that that $50 was her commission. I take it home, and re-try it out for myself. Cheap plastic tool is what I got. It rips your hair out, and NOTHING like the one she used to demonstrate on me at the kiosk. I don't know if they truly think they are the same and are being lied to as well.... but. Also, I didn't find out about their NO RETURN policy until I got home and looked at my receipt. I called the number on the receipt, a location in Burlington Ma. A woman answers the phone with "yeah?". I thought I had the wrong number. Apparently I didn't and she was the owner of EXPRESS BEAUTY LLC. She was very unprofessional and became argumentative very quickly, and the passed my number down to the employee who worked with me today and had her call me at 9pm to question me if I remember her telling me no returns and there were signs. If I was properly informed, I wouldn't be complaining about it. What a waste of $150. What a SCAM!

Piece of Junk
I was at Castleton mall and was stopped by a guy named Leo, he was Italian. He pulled me to the seat. He used the comb thingy, and styled my hair, it looked nice, but when he was done. I told him I wanted to come back and think on it due to the price. But he wouldn't let me leave the seat. I bought it so I could just leave. I tried it once I got home. IT IS JUNK!!!!! I want my money back! I am going to fight to get my money refunded to me.

Complete Scam sales people lied lied lied!
Bought in the mall after they styled my daughters hair. It worked well at the mall and the man said it could be used on wet or dry hair, which once you look at the instructions YOU CAN NOT! He said it doesn't use heat IT TOTALLY DOES! Will be returning tomorrow to get my over $400 back. My 13 year old spent her own hard earned money, how dare you scam a CHILD! This is absolutely appalling. They showed her one set of instructions which are completely different from the instructions in the box. This company needs to be put out of business preying on teens in the mall, charging them a fortune for a straightener which is JUST A STRAIGHTENER!

Please Read how to Dispute Purchase of Scamers|No Refunds
So my wife is Filipino. One of these individuals is Filipino at the kiosk in Altamonte Mall in Altamonte Springs. He pulls her over to the chair, and of course they clicked speaking Tagalog. The guy was new also. He did her hair, and while sitting in the chair he convinced her to buy this whack iron product for $200 bucks. The other person (3 total) she comes over with the wireless card reader and takes the card from my wife and runs it.
The problem: 1) at least in Florida, if a store has no refunds, exchanges, (all sales are final) or offer only store credit, they need to have signs displaying this fact in PLAIN view and viewable from the ENTRANCE of the store. These Kiosk are not stores. So they are required to have it in plain view from ALL sides of the Kiosk. Simply putting it on the receipt AFTER you paid for it means nothing. It's a scare tactic, so long as you can PROVE it.
How to prove it: Take pictures of the kiosk from ALL 4 sides. If only one side (usually the register side which they WONT walk you too. They try to take payment while in the chair to avoid you SEEING it) has this sign, then its a moot point. Again, it must be in plain view from the entrance. No entrance then all sides.
2) Take pictures, call the bank you used to purchase this and file a dispute. Get the pictures you took, put them in a PDF file with your statement, and give it to you bank, upload it to your CC company, email it to your dispute agent, however it works for your CC company work with them and explain and SHOW them so it isn't JUST your WORD vs theirs.
**REMEMBER** Point of sale is WHERE your payment was made, where they took your credit card. If you were sitting in that chair when they took your card THAT'S your Point of Sale.
Florida Statue:
501.142 Retail sales establishments; preemption; notice of refund policy; exceptions; penalty.—
(1) The regulation of refunds is preempted to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services notwithstanding any other law or local ordinance to the contrary. Every retail sales establishment offering goods for sale to the general public that offers no cash refund, credit refund, or exchange of merchandise must post a sign so stating at the point of sale. Failure of a retail sales establishment to exhibit a “no refund” sign under such circumstances at the point of sale shall mean that a refund or exchange policy exists, and the policy shall be presented in writing to the consumer upon request. Any retail establishment failing to comply with the provisions of this section shall grant to the consumer, upon request and proof of purchase, a refund on the merchandise, within 7 days of the date of purchase, provided the merchandise is unused and in the original carton, if one was furnished. Nothing herein shall prohibit a retail sales establishment from having a refund policy which exceeds the number of days specified herein. However, this subsection does not prohibit a local government from enforcing the provisions established by this section.

Crap product and scammers
Total scam, in one mall they charged me 160 for the pro glider and in another 100 for the same one then I wanted to change one for the curler because it didn’t even heat up and they charged me $250 for curler even though it’s $150 on the website and I saw the girls added a $50 commission to each on the computer. They have no morals and just try to take advantage of people it’s disgusting.
