One star across the board. Customer service? Non-existent. Actually finding or receiving your parts? Nope! Getting ahold of anyone on the phone? Fat chance! Getting a call back after leaving multiple messages? Never going to happen! It's unfortunate that Lippert is buying up once good companies and destroying them, just so they have a monopoly on the RV parts market. I work on and remodel RV's and have yet to have a successful encounter with Lippert this year. I end up making and re-engineering most of the parts that I need myself.

I ordered a part through a dealer on…
I ordered a part through a dealer on June 17th or 18th 2026. We were told it would be in, in approx 1 week. After advising my customer and a couple of days, we finally got a tracking number that did not work. Part of our order, 2 $5 orings showed up in a 6"x6" box.
The main part we needed never showed up and after another day of calls, were told, sorry the item is out of stock. A week and a half after taking our money and no call, no email, no communication at all, until WE spend our time to investigate it.
We are now almost a month after it was ordered and they still have not sent out the part, claiming there is a delay but also saying they are not sure if they can issue a refund. WTH kind of customer service is this?
I will NEVER advise my customers to ever replace their original equipment with Lippert components again, EVER.
I will upgrade to products that are made by companies that actually care about the curators that keep their lights on.

Be prepared for a poor experience!
Be prepared for a poor experience!
I ordered a part for my RV refrigerator. Waited four weeks for it to arrive. Discovered they sent me the wrong part. Attempted for several days to make a return with no reply to email. Finally called customer service - they are a joke. Tried to tell me what I “don’t understand” because customer service doesn’t deal with returns.
Finally received information to make the return. Discovered I had to pay shipping, and 20% restocking fee. After everything was said and done, doing the math…I spent $74 for nothing. And had to use my own time doing it.
If you can avoid it, do not do business with Lippert.
For those people working for Lippert, I recommend you find another organization to work for! With this kind of service / concern for customers the company you work for now will not be around long.

Customer service is absolutely awful
Customer service is absolutely awful. I spent the better part of two hours trying to get a hold of somebody to ask a simple question via chat and on the phone about a Bimini top that they sell for my boat. Total waste of time I'm sorry I have their products on my boat and in my RV very scary not knowing you're gonna get any support for these parts.
I tried three times to call and order a Bimini top for my boat could not get through to anyone tried on the website three times still couldn't buy it. It's not like I was bothering them for any support. I just wanted to purchase something.

Horrible
Horrible. Do Not BUY Lippert. I bought a brand new electric jack in winter last year when I bought my new to me used travel trailer.
Lippert, is saying you have to bring it to Camping World. Camping World is saying its pass 30 days so I have to go to Lippert.
Honestly, Camping World sucks, Lippert sucks. Their customer service is hideous. They don't genuinely care about customers past the sale.
This has been a horrible experience.

I originally ordered a hydraulic jack…
I originally ordered a hydraulic jack for my RV from Lippert to replace a broken unit. When the first jack arrived, it appeared to be the wrong part, so I contacted customer service for assistance. I was disappointed to learn that returning it would involve a 20% restocking fee, although I do appreciate that the company later reduced it to 10% after I expressed my concerns.
The main frustration came after I ordered what I believed was the correct replacement part, only to discover it was exactly the same jack as the original order, with the primary difference being the included bag of fittings. It seems this could have been clarified during my initial conversation with support, which would have helped me avoid confusion and potential extra costs.
To be fair, every representative I spoke with was polite, professional, and genuinely willing to help. In my opinion, this issue points to opportunities for improved communication, product guidance, and internal training, rather than individual employee mistakes.
I also shared additional constructive feedback via email, with the subject line addressed to President and CEO Jason Lippert, and I hope they can use it to improve their overall process. For the most, I appreciate the professionalism, but the process was more complicated than it needed to be.

Backup system to close slide is needed
Lippert provides an extremely wide range of parts. These are of high-quality and we need to be thankful. Their customer service is excellent too.
I have a suggestion as they are pushing the envelope for technology with Schwintec slide outs. I have one on a 2016 Salem and it has worked perfectly for 10 years. And one day with the slide fully extended…. It would not come in. I tried all of the technical overrides. I even removed the motors and had two big men push on the slide to see if we could push it in. Nope. Jammed in the open position.
So I contacted the state police and got permission and requirements from them to safely tow the camper to an RV repair shop with a slide out open. Furthermore, this delay is my camping trip. Slide out system is rather simple and when it works, it is excellent. But when it jams…. It will not work and the slide out will remain in the open position. There are numerous stories on social media about this type of event. Not good advertisement nor marketing for Lippert. Suggestions: 1. Require that manufacturers of the trailers, provide an access panel to the motors so that they can be taken out easily. 2. Design the rail and gear system so that a manual crank or other means can be used to retract the slide out once the motors are removed.
Now… under the current design… if something jams the gear or any component…. Including a breakdown of the plastic gibs…. Well, the slide out is not coming in until it’s at an RV dealer and taking apart and that could be hundreds of miles away. The slide out in the camper with is about 11’6”. The legal width based on safety…. without a wide load tow permit is 8‘6“.
Lippert is a great company with very smart and technical people at hand. The Swintec system is generally superb. But like all things… it breaks. Design a safe, simple, easy access, backup system to get it closed when the system fails. Thanks. Jeff Swanson
