A staff member went above and beyond…
A staff member went above and beyond giving me information I needed to make an educated purchase. In addition, when I asked for photo examples taken with the Motic X3 microscope camera, he networked with another client to get me some sample photos. This convinced me to purchase the camera, and it proved to be a great purchase.

I contacted customer assistance because…Needed update about a back-ordered item
I contacted customer assistance because I have an order that has yet to be delivered (and charged to my account). The response came within a day and provided with me with very helpful information. I now am looking forward to having the item shipped within the week. This is THE best online customer care service I've used, although admittedly I haven't used that many.

Fast and they have items in stock
Fast, and they actually have items in stock. VWR and Thermo are killing me right now - out of all the regular supplies you need to get stuff done in the lab. The biggest problem with both VWR and Thermo is if you contact them it's a 48 hour turn around time just to hear back, or you have to call and be put on hold. Ben responds incredibly fast, which when you're in crunch time is important. I appreciate it.
