I was excited to wear these nails. They looked great! Unfortunately I am now paying the price! My nails disintegrated from the glue. I always had descent nails but wanted to be a little fancy, hence the Static Nails. My nails are now split and peeling. I am going to see a dermatologist to see what can be done. I Am sure they’ll have to grow completely out however the way they are splitting and peeling I don’t know when the grow out process will start! I’m curious as to how this can happen if, as they claim, they used only natural ingredients. I will be further researching how this happened. In the meantime I’d watch out!

Hi Melissa, thank you for letting us know. Please note we have not heard of this happening before in our about 10 years of business. Please email [email protected] some photos so we can look into an assist <3 It sounds like they have been forced off.
The glue dissolves away from your nail over time so as long as they were not forced off before they were ready there shouldn't be any damage to your nails. We also make a remover that dissolves the glue on command for safe removal.

7 weeks later, no nails. Worst customer service. Shop around for a better, deserving brand.
It’s been 7 weeks - nothing received. I paid $50 for delivery alone. They sent it via snail-mail, even though I paid a premium delivery fee. The word fraud and theft comes to mind. They have the worst customer service.
They might have been the first to market, but there are lots of other brands now. Brands that deserve your business! If you're not based in the US, be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for postage, because they use snail mail service (shipped via boat) but will charge you a premium $50 delivery fee.
Don't let their reply mislead you. They only have ONE delivery option which cost $50 and doesn't state the average shipping duration - obviously because they don't want to tell customers before payment that they're using 6-8 week snail-mail but charging you the premium mail fee.
EDIT (after the Static Nails reply):
Thank you for replying to this feedback. The delivery was NOT delayed. You used a snail mail service (shipped via boat, not plane).
Static Nails charged me $50 for delivery alone - a premium fee. For that $50, you should have posted the item via DHL Express. Instead you guys used a super cheap slow delivery service which didn't cost you $50 and you pocketed the difference.
If you wanted to use the snail mail service, then don't charge us the premium service fee - that's unethical and immoral.
Also, be honest, tell your international customers when completing the Checkout, that "we use a snail mail postage which can take 6-8 weeks for delivery". Then customers can make an informed decision on whether they want to pay $50 for 6-8 week snail mail delivery.
Also, customer service replies within 24hrs M-F? You're joking right? I replied numerous times and got no response for weeks - which is why I ended up pursuing this with my bank - that's how bad Static Nails service is.
I ended up disputing this with my bank - I received a successful chargeback from this company.

Hello, we are sorry to hear you have not yet gotten your package. It sounds like this may have been an international order in which sometimes it does take carriers several weeks when the most affordable shipping option is chosen. It is not in our control. Please note most orders ship same day if not within 24 hours M-F. You can email [email protected] and a customer service agent can assist you.
Hello, as mentioned you can reach out to our cs team for our assistance. If you choose the most affordable shipping option it can take any carrier a few weeks or even 2 months to deliver the package, this unfortunately is out of our control. We are always happy to replace lost packages, however, if it still shows it is in transit to you we have to wait.
Hello, the rates and delivery time populated at check out are *direct* from the shipping carrier. Not us. I do see the slowest option was selected for your order at checkout. Again, please request a supervisor if you need further assistance by emailing [email protected]. Thank you.

Pretty but Didn't Work for Me
I'll give it to them, these nails are pretty and the glue is really good. A couple problems: they are very long so I had to clip some off and file them down, that was pretty easy but after I did that the nails would constantly split at the top and would have to be filed down even more to where you couldn't see the Ombre effect I loved. They are too thin in my opinion (looks wise and wear wise). They are also not really that good at fitting most of my nails.
Response from Static NailsJul 19, 2022
Hello, Please note we offer nails in different lengths extra short, short, medium, and long length. If you clip the nail straight across it could break since you are putting pressure on the middle of the nail where it curves. If you use a clipper, clip the nail in small sections working side to side and then file to smooth out. You can also file or clip from the bottom to preserve any designs at the tip.
Please also note we have "like acrylic" nails which are completely bend and crack resistant.

Worse than grocery store nails
I have tried 4-5 different brands of nails, and these were by far the least durable (and most expensive!) They were chipping and cracking within 18 hours of application. When I emailed customer service with pictures they said I was out of luck, they did not offer refunds. I indicated I had 3 sets that were unopened that I no longer wanted. Because if you super glue bad nails onto your hands they are going to be there for at least a week looking terrible. This is a direct quote from their email response: “Please know that we have our policies, which are listed very clearly on staticnails.com. Per policy, we do not allow returns or exchanges.” I have heard they delete negative reviews from their website :( so outside sources like this are the only way to find out that their product quality - and customer service - are horrible.

Hello, we are sorry to hear you are disappointed. Please email [email protected] with the actual issues so we can help =) We do allow you to return unused sets.
Hello, as mentioned you can email us with your specific issues and we would be more than happy to assist and improve your experience.
Hello, please note that is not what our returns and policy says. We allow returns on unopened unused pop-on nails. You can see all policies on staticnails.com. Please email customer service directly for any additional assistance.

I wish I had never bought these nails
I wish I had never bought these nails! After seeing them on Facebook I decided to give them a try. I purchased two sets of the "round" shaped nails, which cost me around $50 with tax and shipping and handling. The nails arrived in about a week and I immediately was concerned about how large they appeared. I have slender fingers and nail beds and I wasn't sure they would fit. When I voiced my concern to Static Nails they said you could shape the nails anyway you wished easily. Well I don't know how you could trim the nails down to make them narrower without making it look horrible. So I did not trim them and following the instructions I picked out a set of nails that fit me as closely as possible. I followed the instructions to a T, starting with clean dry nails. I then buffed my nails as instructed with the nail file included in the kit. Next I applied a generous amount of nail glue to my nail bed and then a thin layer to the inside of the nail, as the instructions say. I managed to apply four nails this way, got glue everywhere but carried on. That's when I ran into trouble. The next nails would not stay on my nail beds. No matter what size I used, or how much glue I used, or how long I held the nail in place, as soon as I released the pressure the nails just popped off! I soon realized that no matter what I did they would not stick. I then had to figure out how to get the other nails off without damaging my real nails. Again, following instructions, I tried to get them off but they would not budge. I soaked them in acetone nail polish remover and finally, with extreme effort I pried them from my nails. My real nails and cuticles tore and split, causing much pain. My nails are now in a horrible condition from using these fake nails and glue. I checked Static Nails return policy and that's when I found out I can't get a complete refund because they will only take back the unused unopened nails AND if I do return them I have to pay the postage. I wish I had never bought them and just stuck to nail polish or regular press on's. Do not buy them, do not use them, your nails will be ruined by this product!!!

Hello,
We are sorry you did not find the nails to fit you and experienced problems because of that. Please note that while our nails fit the majority of people with petite, average, and larger nail beds there are rare cases where individuals need to file the sides of the nail for a perfect, custom fit, which only takes a few seconds. This will ensure the nail fits properly to allow it to be comfortable and stay on you.
Please note you should never soak your nails or the nails in nail polish remover as done as that would destroy your natural nails leaving them thin, weak, and brittle to break as done. We do carry a non-toxic, odorless polish and pop-on nail remover that was designed to dissolve the glue on command for safe, non-damging removal.

Not worth the price
Not worth the price. I do agree that it's made of good material that looks like real acrylic.
However, my thumb nail popped off after not even 24 hours of use. AND it left residual glue on my nail!
Not only that, but the sizes the nails come in are laughable. My nails are wide, and most of their nails are all pretty skinny. I had to file down their thumb nails to use as my ring finger.
I asked about getting a refund or return. They said I have to make my own shipping label, and pay a fee. They even suggested that I just sell my nails to friends or family. What??
Overall, not worth the hype and expense!

Hello,
This is an easy fix. If glue was left behind on your nail when it popped off so soon, it means the nail was not actually bonded to your nail in that area. It is important to ensure your entire natural nail is being covered when applying the nails and that you are applying firm, even pressure to avoid air-pockets, which are areas not enough glue was used, and/or pressure was received, which means the glue just dries to your nail and not both the static nail and natural nail. It can be buffed off your natural nail easily with the buffer included though. If you found the nail to show too much of your natural nail when applied it would be too small and could be a reason it also came off early. Otherwise, simply applying enough glue and pressure is the fix =)

Don’t even bother.
I actually love the pop on nails by Static Nails. I wish I would’ve come here first to read the scathing reviews about their poor customer service, as I’ve become their next victim.
The nails are great - my first set lasted two weeks+ and help up perfectly. No complaints! They look so natural. Love!
I subsequently ordered six more sets. One arrived with a defect on the nail surface - there was plastic clumped onto it.
The Take What I Want nails have numbers printed near the top of each nail, so there is no way I can wear those! It’s a manufacturing defect or otherwise bad design. So I reached out to their customer service, and that’s where I found Static failed miserably.
They offered a $5 gift card for a future order for the nails with clumped plastic. They even acknowledged “that shouldn’t happen.” Why not offer a full replacement or refund? But it gets worse. For the Take What I Want nails, which are completely impossible to wear (who even wears them with actual numerals printed on each nail?! Crazy!), they suggest I paint them. Paint? I told them I bought these nails because they are to be quick and I didn’t want to paint them. Plus, the photo online is deceiving as they don’t show the numbers, and there is not a mention of that in the description. Not even a comment about that! I find that strange.
I’ve emailed them about three more times after our original conversation and now they ignore me. I’ve never been rude or an otherwise bad customer to them. I don’t suggest buying from them because of there’s a problem, you’ll be the one suffering as they won’t try to help. I’m just blown away with their poor “customer service.” I’ve never dealt with a company like this before. And those follow-up replies they provide here? Worthless. My simple problem should’ve already been resolved, but I had to bring it here. Ridiculous.
Also, Static deleted my review where I explained that numbers are printed! Wow! Unbelievable. Or is it??
If you’re debating on whether to buy from Static Nails, you have all the answers you need.

Hello,
We are happy to hear you loved your first set. Please note we are always happy to make it right when there are any defects on products. You just need to email [email protected] with a clear photo and detail of the issue within a few days of receiving your products.
Please note all pop-on/press-on nails have numbers on the back so clear nails, like take what I want would show that unless you filed them off, which only takes a few seconds. They don't need to be filed though if you don't want as they can only be seen when the nails are very upclose to your face instead of a standard distance. If they are unused / unopened you can return them.
I'm not sure what you mean regrading the review as all areas to leave reviews, such as here, are not controlled by us they are all 3rd party sites.
Please note if you do not feel you were properly handled you can request a supervisor by emailing the agent.

Eh, not any better than regular polish.
They say it lasts up to three weeks. Not even close! Maybe if you don’t use your hands for anything and keep them out of water - you might get a week out of it. Even if I do 3 coats I’m lucky to get 3 DAYS out of it before it needs to come off. It doesn’t really chip - it splits, lifts, snags your clothes, and tears your nail with it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice polish and drys really fast with the top coat. It comes off with regular nail polish remover very easily. I just have to plan to change it by the 3rd day or it starts looking terrible. I ordered the sweater weather palette. Nice variety of colors but the bottle of top coat won’t last nearly long enough with the colors.
Response from Static NailsJul 19, 2022
Hello, Please note we do not say the lacquer lasts 3 weeks. We state it lasts up to 10+ days as nearly all customers report 8-14 days of wear without chips, including nurses and bartenders who are very rough on their hands and have exposure to a lot of water. You do need to apply our primer and top coat per instructions to achieve their wear. It sounds like maybe that was not done for this application.
Yes, the primer and top coat comes in the palettes, however, yes, with any bottle you plan to finish, no matter the brand you will need 1 bottle of primer/top coat per typically 2 bottles of color you plan to use since you're using 2 coats of color vs 1 coat of primer / top coat with every manicure. The primer and top coat included in the palettes will allow you several manicures before a full size is needed. They are simply introductory sets to our formulas or ways to get seasonally fresh colors without needing full sized bottles for all.
