Very disappointed with SG! I ordered several products, of which two were received defective (a Marine flag with a large white stain in the scarlet field, and two magazine pouches that wouldn't close because the snaps were placed wrong). Instead of just replacing the product, they wanted me to pay return shipping! i WAS STEAMED! Why should I pay to fix your mistakes! They then offered me a return shipping label, but wanted me to pay another $7.50 in shipping to replace products I should have had in my hands already! Why should I have to pay shipping twice? You sent me defective product - It should be up to you to fix the problem. Horrible customer service - I won't be back and I'll warn my friends too!

Terrible experience. The order was placed on 5/8, and upgraded to 3 day express shipping so I could get my item in time for an upcoming tournament. I emailed them on 5/13 asking where my order was, as it should have arrived by 5/12. First I received an e-mail on 5/15 claiming that they tried to call me earlier that day to verify my shipping address since it was different from my billing address but this call never happened. Seriously, cell phones have call logs, how can they even think to claim this? I called the same day the e-mail came in (2 days ago, 5/15) and verified the address, figured it would be fine now. Nope, checked the website this morning, still has not shipped. Sent an e-mail inquiry about it, and the response I received stated that I NEVER CALLED TO CONFIRM MY ADDRESS. Again, call logs, proof, unbelievable. I called customer service, spoke with the same rep, and she said that the order has indeed been released, and will ship either today or tomorrow, scheduled to arrive on either 5/20 or 5/22. TL/DR: Ordered on 5/8, paid for 3-day express shipping, will not receive the order until 5/20 or 5/22. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys, there are plenty of better places to spend your money without a headache.

I ordered a firearm through Sportsman Warehouse to be shipped to one of their preferred FFL's. I followed their directions and contacted the FFL, however, the FFL never accepted the firearm and as such was shipped back to the company; I dont blame Sportsmans Guide for this failure. Where Sportmans Guide failed (miserably) was in the fact that it took them 2 months and me taking a foul attitude on the phone with their customer service to get my money refunded. According to the customer service representative, Sportsmans guide DIDNT EVEN KN KNOW the product had been returned, this means they had lost positive control of a firearm; any shooting enthusiast should see that as dangerously careless. To add further insult to injury Sportsmans Guide attempted multiple times to withdraw money from my account as payment towards the item, an item that I never received. The bottom line is this, Sportmans guide deals in firearms; it is an industry and a product that punishes carelessness and complacency with terrible consequences. If they cant be trusted to take the shipping and return of firearms seriously we as consumers should stop supporting them. I see not purchasing firearms through Sportsmans Guide as a way to keep people safe, they have demonstrated that they cant be trusted to take firearms seriously. I bet you their first response to this review is the same boiler plate they put on every negative review which is the automated response of " This is not the type of service you should come to expect from Sportsman’s Guide. Do you mind private messaging us your customer number? We would like to have a manager look into these complaints."

Ordered ammo online was easy and the shipping was fast! I had no issues placing my order.

I purchased a much need pair of waterproof boots for my ARMY son. I paid for 3 day delivery and now eight days later, we still have not received my son's boots. Everyday we check on the order status and everyday we are told the boots will arrive that day. Shame on you. You know many of your customers are serving our country.

Over the years, I've made numerous online firearms purchases, and they have always been a straightforward experience, despite the necessary paperwork, licensing, and shipping requirements.. Sportsman's guide COMPLETELY ruined that. In starting a custom rifle build, I decided to purchase a stripped Remington M700 action from them. I made the purchase on Thanksgiving Day, and selected one of their "Preferred" FFL dealers to make the transfer. I made a couple attempts to call this preferred dealer of theirs, but got only voicemail. I assumed this was because of the holiday weekend. Sportsmans Guide shipped the action on Monday (so of course I assumed their FFL preferred dealer relationship was all Kosher). I then received a call saying that the dealer was out of business, and that they were cancelling the order. Normally, this wouldn't be a huge deal, more of an inconvenience... however they are charging me a 15% restocking fee, a $5 firearm fee, and are refusing to refund the withheld CA sales tax (even though they are a MN company). I called numerous times to try and make the order work. The options I offered were: 1. Issue a full refund, since I had followed their policy in trying to contact one of their "prefered" dealers and they shipped without verification. 2. Allow me to pay the fees (shipping/processing) associated with just shipping it back to the FFL of my choice 3. Issue me a full refund in store credit. They promised a call back within a business day. I never got it, so I called them back a few days later. Talking to numerous people, they refused to make anything work to make a happy customer. They've definitely lost all future business from me.

hands down the worst online buying experience I have ever had.. customer service is awful! its like pulling teeth to find out about an order. orders are shipped late, also if you plan on using any kind of coupon be ready for them to turn around and say they dont except coupons!?!?! what kind of crap is that? the buyer club program is not even a good deal all they do is send you junk emails. all in all stay far far way form this company. if anything order your items from amazon tho them.. at least amazon will hold them accountable

I have been ordering from Sportsmans guide for years. They have always stood behind what they sell and quickly resolve any issues.
