Submitted a question on a product and verified its submission. Received an email it was posted and waited for a reply. Several days later, returned to the product page and low and behold no question (it was on 62gr 5.56 ammo - wanted to know if it was in fact M855, SS109 or lead core). I again posted the question, went through the verification process and was emailed that the question was live; but it wasn't. Third times the charm? posted again, same rigamaroll and no dice. So I did the research myself and posted a review, noting the ammo was NOT steel core. Within a day the review was removed. This company actively tries to mislead people into buying something they are not. Extremely shady business practices bordering on theft by mis-represenation. The state attorney general's office should be notified of their business practices.

This company does not even deserve one star. I ordered 2 ammo cans from them based on the picture they showed. The pictured showed a pristine looking ammo can with the markings I wanted on it. What I got were 2 ammo cans with no markings, faded paint, rust, dents, dirty, and smelled like dog pooh! No kidding! These cans smelled like they were used to collect dog doo! Of course I contacted them about it and here was their reply: "Thank you for your response. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us. Enjoy the Outdoors! Sportsman’s Guide Customer Experience Team" Wasn't that nice of them! When I asked for them to be replace, I got no answer at all. I'm going to post in other places where I can show pictures. Don't buy from this rip-off company. You never know what you're really going to get and they stand by nothing.

Horrible company that steals your money and gives you a broken product. They shipped a broken product and refuses to refund product or send shipping labels or people to pack. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They will rip you off

Do not order online from this company. This is the first time I have ever left a review like this. Their website and shipping date information is completely misleading and the customer support is non-existent. If you search the internet, you will find countless other people with the same complaint. I ordered an item on May 14 because the website said it would be delivered by May 21. By May 18, there was no shipment created, so I contacted customer support who told me that the item was "lost in the warehouse" and the order was "cancelled," but now "found" and that they "hope" it would be shipped by the following day (customer support rep did not sound optimistic). The new delivery date is 1 week late scheduled now for May 27. But on on the website, the same item says it can be delivered by May 20. Phone customer support call times are 60 minutes plus and the callback feature does not work. This company's online business processes are horribly mismanaged.

This company really sucks at sales, delivery, and shipping. I placed an order almost three weeks ago, they said shipped when they really just created a label which made it looks shipped. I am still waiting on my PAID order for the past 8 days of FEDEX riding around with the package. I have complained to Sportsman Guide and they refused to respond or refund. This company is awful and I would never, never, order from them again. I would pay a higher price from someone else.

Like others everyone is struggling with COvId19. But don’t tell people they can still order and deceive them into thinking the item will ship without issues. I ordered an item 4/30 and it was I stock. Still hasn’t shipped. I didn’t receive any indication that orders are being processed first come first serve until I reach out to them find why my item hasn’t shipped. I get a generic response back. I reply back and get an auto response that my email will be answered in 3 days. Message at top of web site says call center is closed so you can’t call them. Very deceiving and fraudulent business. They are are saying you can order still on the website but don’t tell you the rest of the story and that in my opinion isn’t how you keep customers. “Hey sure we sell it and you can get it online still...but we won’t ship it, again I’ll keep your money, and will just tell you it’s first come first serve”. Well just like their first come first serve attitude, I’m a one time customer that will never order for them again. The money I saved buying from them isn’t worth not having the item I needed and dealing with terrible business practice. Should be investigated in my opinion based on all the other reviews. I can’t even get my money back because I can’t return an item that wasn’t shipped yet. Go elsewhere and spend the extra $10-15; I’m sure there are plenty of other business that can and do actually provide good service even during these times. In fact, this is the time for retailers to step it up and highlight online sales and service. Not at this company. At the very least they’re should have put a HUGE announcement on their web site being honest with customers. They’ll happily take your money and you’ll never see the item. Bye Sportmans Guide. I understand that during the pandemic things can get a little hectic, but this level of incompetence is over the top. Highly disorganized with poor communication. Do your shopping somewhere else.

Terrible experience. Ordered 2 items,they said they shipped but I then saw on that ticket it said only one item shipped-received nothing. I had enough of the lies to me and made protest to Pay Pal . Sportsman’s Guide then sent fraudulant tracking information to PayPal stating I received Items. Not only are they dishonest with public they will continue the fraud and deception with others in order to cover themselves...seems to be the norm. Got nowhere with email....just more lies n the one response. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND NOTHING!
