Ordered fan, plugged in fan and heard noise like electrical component frying. Tried to contact company for replacement. Keep getting the run around. They say send video, my poor lighting caused the color of their product to differ, so they tried to say it wasn't theirs. Then they asked if it would work without the controller hooked up. Guess what no switch no run. The controller is the switch. These people don't even know how their products work. This is to update this review. Yes it did take more time than I would have expected; but in the end they came through with a working replacement. Thus I will still stand behind this company!

This company are currently buying good reviews. I had a mail from them inviting me to participate in a 'competition' in which the company Spider Farmer give prizes for the best reviews. Figure it out for yourself.

They took my money never even bothered to send a verification code just simply took my money and didn’t ship my item what hell man

Bought a new bar light when i received it i realised straight away it was faulty i requested a return label with a refund which i was refused they said they would only repair the device. So i agreed as as that was my only option i was promised id have my light back within 15 days which ultimately never happend 3 month later no light or refund this company is a scam the fact that they trade in the uk should not be allowed t because they trading standards are worse then china . they ignoring my emails and ignoring the fact they have my light i have no choice to report this as theft. DONT BUY FROM THEM PLEASE DONT EVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST COMPANY IVE COME ACCROSS STAFF USE GOOOGLE TRANSLATOR. LOST 400POUNDS!!!!!!

Spider Farmer's location in Alhambra, CA is a sham. There is no office there, not even a fake storefront. Spider Farmer is a Chinese company that pays lip service to customer satisfaction, but provides absolutely no customer service whatsoever. I ordered a light by mistake and did not open the box when it arrived. They refused to refund my money and just gave me run around after run around. Their responses are poorly written -- written by Chinese people or by a Google translator. And they never addressed my request directly, which was simply to allow me to ship back the unopened box and to be refunded my money. The last straw was when they wrote that I was not eligible for a refund because I was past the 30-day return period. It took over 30 days of back and forth miscommunication; just long enough for them to tell me I was past the return period. They are unethical. I usually fight tooth and nail for my money, but I am aware this company has no US roots and therefore, feels no obligation to follow US commerce laws. DO NOT BUY FROM SPIDER FARMER. DO NOT BUY FROM SPIDER FARMER. DO NOT BUY FROM SPIDER FARMER.

I have 2 huge plants thanks to spider farmer and the 2x4 grow tent I bought. The sf2000 is a great grow light also! It was a little pricey compared to my vivosun though…that’s why I couldn’t give 5 stars.

I wouldn't even give these clowns 1 star! They use Hermes to deliver, which is a big mistake. My parcel was not delivered by Hermes even though they marked it delivered, which after a quick google it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to and hasn't left me a leg to stand on. My bad experience is mostly down to Hermes to be fair, but when I contacted Spider Farmer to get them to help me, as they are Hermes customer and not myself, I was asked to contact Hermes (even though it says on Hermes website that the supplier has to contact them) and ask for an "unsigned certificate". I have no idea what this is and have never been asked to do this before. Spider Farmer just gave me the same cut & paste reply each time I contacted them asking them for help. Hermes have been ignoring my e-mails for over a week now & you are not able to call them. I also think Spider Farmer's customer service is in China as the English wasn't the best in the e-mails. I have basically been going back and forth between Spider Farmer & Hermes for nearly 3 weeks now & I have got absolutely nowhere as Hermes is now ignoring me & I have given up with Spider Farmer. I now have to hope that I can make a claim on the credit card which will take weeks to get refunded if I'm eligible. At the moment I'm £140 out of pocket. I have a spider Farmer light already and they are very good. However, there are plenty of other equally good lights for around the same price such as Mars Hydro lights which I will be getting as an alternative. Spider Farmer, your customer service is letting you down badly & also DO NOT USE HERMES!

One of my $500 lights the driver went bad in 6 weeks and customer service has been extremely difficult to deal with. BUY A BETTER BRAND I WISH I DID.
