Comparing magnetic properties between chains is not an accurate way to evaluate quality or material, as non-magnetic chains are typically made from different metals or alloys that may not offer the same durability as stainless steel. For example, a brass chain which is a lower quality metal that turns your neck green when exposed to moisture, is not a ferrous metal and would not be magnetic.
