SparxreaderReviews of sparxreader.com

Horrible, with a complete waste of time and energy, not a large variety of books, and very short books, with little srp per section.

I don't understand how this website is used by schools across the UK as clear as represented by the 1 star reviews it is a horrible app.Instead of having to get 3/4 on your first guess and 4/4 on your second guess and some people get 40 SRP per question and others get 23 ( like myself) there should be 30SRP for 4/4 25 for 3/4 15 for 2/4 and none for 1/4 and zero out of four. But instead of forcing you to read again it should skip forward unless you earned 0 srp.Another annoying thing is that if you are reading another book outside of sparks. This website takes up all your spare reading time meaning you can't read a book you actually enjoy; hence why I suggest you should be able to say what book you are reading in real life not on some gamified reading app and get AI to make questions so you can have the joy of reading a book you actually want.Enough about suggestion schools should have a limit of 200 SRP max per week because we started with 600 then it went down to 300 but this still genuinely takes hours of my precious life.It makes me especially mad hearing that people can get as much as 45 SRP per set of questions when I have never got above 30.I am expecting big changes if you want people to actually like your website.

Absolute unessessary torture. A slickly presented way to take all of the joy out of reading. If your teachers are using this be afraid, very afraid 😔

This is actually a HORRIBLE website. Giving me the hardest books, 8/9 paragraphs while then only giving me 30-45 SRP. Had enough of this.

I despise it more than any other educational website EVER every time you get 50% of the questions wrong it will force you to read and/or answer the questions until you get 100% of the questions right it is torture and it barely gives you any points and you have to reach a certen number of points EVERY WEEK and for me its 300 and they try to trick you as well by putting a question that isn't in the story and they do it every page sure there is a "not in story" button but STILL not also if you want to read in a genre sparx will give you only 2 books of that genre and the rest are some random books they picked up I'M NOT KIDDING IT HAPPENED THE DAY I WROTE THIS and don't get me started on the reading you know the thing sparx reader is all about it's more of a chore than anything and it takes so long and I have ADHD so it makes it harder to read and answer the qustions anyway that's the end of the review if I could give -1000000 stars I would.

Forces me to read when reading is very hard for me and my teachers know this but they still force me to read these hard books, and when i get 1 question wrong i have to restart!! TAKE IT DOWN!!!

I can't find a single easy book and it wont tell me what I get wrong so I cant even know what to do. I have spent 1.5 hours and I'm only 20% done. Help. I hate this.

everything is bad
