Absolutely terrible app needs to be taken down I get 2/4 wrong and I need to restart and after that I need to get all of them correct? Absolutely ridiculous

This website is a train-wreck. I constantly spend 15 minutes reading through an extract, just for my memory loss to kick in and get every question wrong. It doesnt matter that im in top set English, I still suck at comprehension, and at this point, i might aswell get the 15 minute break time detention rather than spending 3 hours doing something that I have a mental breakdown about. If i could give it 0 stars, i would.

i hate sparx reader so much, it’s such a terrible homework website and completely drains your energy. it also is so hard most of the time and completely wipes away your like for reading. take it down !!!

This app needs to be taken down. Its got to a point that everytime i see i have homwork i nearly throw my phone accross the room. Unlike other people, i enjoy reading non fiction but i have to read fiction because this platform is crap I dont know how people give this any higher than a 1 0/5 if i could

This platform is genuinely the bane of my life. I try my best to be positive about everything, alas this crosses the line. Me and my mum were doing my Sparx homework together, and I needed 300 SRP (points, basically.) After 1 page of painful reading (for a book I don't even like), they ask me 4 questions. I get it all right first try, only 20 points. Not quite all right and first try? Only 10. Let me do some maths for you; each of these sections takes around 5 minutes to complete. they give you 20 SRP (give or most certainly take.) Considering you need 300 SRP, you divide 300 by 20 to give you how many sections you need to do, being 15. Times 5 for the time it takes, and that's 1 hour and 15 minutes of homework. Considering the school says 'It's only 30 minutes a week!', this disgusts me. In addition, Sparx Reader's whole motto is about reading for pleasure being one of the most important factors in life. Then why on earth make it this chore? Why do they not give you a search bar to find books you might like? Why is their feeble attempt at giving you a choice by selecting genres so unbelievably bad? I could choose history and it give me a romance book set in the future. I have nothing good to say about this platform, apart from maybe the fact you can change the size of the text, font, colour of the page, etc. But even then, there is no dark mode. There is a caveat to every positive. It also shows that schools don't do any research whatsoever, because the bad reviews are right in your face as soon as you search it up. As a final push from me, if I wanted to read a book for pleasure, I would get a physical book. I don't read a book to memorise it, I generalise it and enjoy what I could understand. The lack of physical paper in my hand just makes reading worse. The best English homework, is the old reliable reading record, not this. Anyways, I'm ending my review here. Good luck.

This is one of the most horrific, disgusting websites i have ever seen in my blooming life. Being introduced to this pathetic excuse of a website was like having a perfect world be trampled on, i was having a lovely day, i just finished school, it was sunny, i was about to go out with my friend when I saw an email from the school "Remember to do sparx reader!" Now-I was new to this website, it was the first day we were using it afterall, but OH MY GOD, this has ruined my life forever. My life will never be the same after witnessing the horrendus stuff on this webiste. First of all, you have to choose between a shitty selection of books that were all written by men with the brain capacity of a dead rat that has been ranover on the road by an e-scooter. I would rather get shot in the neck Charlie Kirk style than choose to read any of these books willingly. But of course, i had to choose one, so i chose the most dreary book in the whole multiverse. I would rather read a book in chinese and i dont even SPEAK chinese, thata how bad the books are. Ok, so then i think "Alright, the book is terrible but what about the actual questions?" And oh my god. I wish i never even thought of muttering that sentence out loud. I get onto the questions, "Oh its only 4? Thats fine" i get one wrong. Let me repeat. ONE WRONG, and suddenly its like i nuked the whole world. This dogshit excuse of a homework website makes me restart everything. EVERYTHING. I even had to read it all again. And you want to know what the answer was? Not in story. NOT IN STORY?? THE FVCK YOU MEAN NOT IN STORY?? Why would you actually take fime out of your day to write down a shitty madeup question just for the answer to be 'Not in story' . How psychotic you have to be to make such a revolting question boggles my brain. And then, let me tell you this - it has the FVCKING AUDACITY to let you see the story while reading the question. Do you think im slow? Do you think im actually stupid? Do you think im actually going to re-read this appauling dogshit book just for some english homework? No. Absoluetly not. Mabye if actually worded your questions properly i wouldnt have got it wrong. I cannot name a SINGLE positive benifit for this website. I would rate this negative ♾️ stars if i could, but i cant, so it is. And i am telling you right now if this idiotic sp*rx re*der 'website' is not removed in the next 7 days there will be SERIOUS CONCEQUENSES.
