No refund even if the event was canceled due to covid-19. No reply to emails and requests for clarification.

What an absolute joke. Every other event organiser in the world is giving refunds during COVID-19, but not Spartan. They keep quoting their refund policy, which is nonsense in this current circumstance, particularly where they have no doubt reduced their expenses to very low, and don't need to run an event that we have all paid for! If they were a charity I might consider it a good donation, but they are not, they are a business, and they should do the right thing and process refunds.

NEVER SHOP THIS STORE!!!! If I could give them ZERO stars I would, sadly that is not an option. Had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get my money refunded. I placed 3 orders with Spartan Race end none of the orders arrived complete. Items missing out of each order. After emailing several times and never getting responses to my numerous emails I filed a complaint with the BBB. Only at that time did Spartan Race respond....with LIES. They are DISHONEST, THIEVES, and will steal your money. DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE!!!!! When I contacted BBB they had 34 complaints against them an "F" rating.

I wish I could rate Spartan in the negative! How dare they pocket money from people after canceling races, especially during this devastating time! They are making huge profits off of this. With unemployment rates at a high, how can they possibly think this is acceptable business practices. This organization is a complete scam. I will NEVER support Spartan again!

My event was cancelled due to COVID, they sent me an email saying "You will receive free entry into another Spartan event and a refund for all fees and insurance paid, within the next 2-4 weeks" I emailed them and they said they changed their mind and they're now not giving refunds and on top of it, they'll only give another event slot "When possible"...meaning if their is an opening otherwise we're selling that slot...W T F?!? Same as the rest, crap customer service, no phone number, SCAMMERS...DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY...RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....guy who runs it is a D-Bag anyway. There are many other options out there, find any other than this verified (by ALL these people on here) horrible, money grubbing company, masquarding as "veteran friendly"..LMFAO

I want to give #spartan a negative 10 review! I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! I purchased a trifecta pass for 2020 in March right before covid19 hit. I had my first race scheduled for 4/25 .. June 13th and October 3rd. Then covid19 hit and my April race was canceled. They want to reschedule everything for later in the year. They are not willing to offer any refunds! Even due to the fact that they canceled the race! It's a bunch of crap and I'm so completely not happy with them! There customer stinks! I have filed a complaint through the better business bureau and I will be reaching out to my lawyer! It is not right morally or ethically that due to the circumstances they are not adjusting the refund policy! By the time upstate ny is up and running again I will not have time to do 3 races this year before the winter hits. Great way to spend $400 dollars! I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING MY MONEY AND GIVING ME NOTHING IN RETURN!

1 Star is far too generous. COVID-19 hits and they cancel all races. I'm active duty military and will be moving to a different post by the time things normalize; I was going to attend the race with friends, but after the event was postponed (four weeks before the start date), I asked for a full refund, since I don't have any interest in a make-up race at a different time/location. They refused on every customer service platform they had, and wouldn't give me information to speak to anybody in management. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Yes, there was an absurd waiver that basically said, "once you pay us, there's absolutely nothing you can do to get your money back even if we do not fulfill a single part of the agreement." My fault. This company should be avoided at all costs; absolutely criminal business practices. I strongly discourage anyone who values integrity from attending an event administered by these greedy, soulless people.
