So they billed me for a two-year subscription on 03/23/21 which was supposed to last until 03.22.23, but then on 12/17/22 they started billing me every month so essentially they have double billed me - and going from $109.95 for 2 years to $720 for 2 years is a 700% increase - that too WITHOUT any prior notification!!!!! I have copies of their invoices to prove this.

Crummy Service
LIke others here, two of us have been with Spam Arrest since the beginning. Contacted them regarding the dramatic increase in fees - no response. $60 a month - no thank you. Gmail is handling our spam just fine. Goodbye Spam Arrest

Disappointed with SpamArrest after several years…
I have been with SpamArrest for several years and find it to be very useful. However, I recently had notice of a change in the charges. When I went to this I discovered that paying annually was not an option. This has always been my preference as it is cheaper this way, but is no longer available to me. When I go to help, for several "days" the only reply I get is that there is an error. I cannot contact SpamArrest. The monthly charge is now £29.00 which I do not want to pay. The main thing is that I c annot contact SpamArrest as the only thing that I get is an error message. Has Spamarrest been hacked?

Through the roof new cost
Spamarrest went from $50 for 6 months to $350 a year just last month with no warning. This is a good, effective service. It catches almost all spam. But that cost is crazy. Not even a loyalty deal for those of us with them for decades.

Had them for many years but with their 4x price increase it's time to move on
Had them for many years and while somewhat overpriced at about $7/month, it did the needful and $7/month was below the pain threshold. Customer service slow to respond (a few days) but they invariably did. They recently (Oct 2022) announced a price increase to $30/month, which is absolutely laughable for what they provide. Maybe short term they plan to lose less than 3/4 of their customers, so still a net profit. My suspicion is that the one person who is behind the company just got tired of doing it and is figuring, "Well if people are willing to pay me 4x more, what the heck, I'll continue."
I have moved to MailWasher Pro and while it's a different service (not cloud based) it's the closest replacement I've been able to find and now that I've used it for a few days I actually prefer it to SpamArrest as it's actually a lot more powerful though it needs some setting up. Alternatively, if you use Thunderbird as your mail client, you can also set up a filter that effectively says "If sender is not in Address Book [whitelist] move email to Folder [quarantine]" which is 90% of what SpamArrest does, at least the way I used it.
At any rate, if you are an existing SpamArrest customer and don't intend to remain one owing to the over 4x price increase, make sure to download (export) your whitelists and blacklists while your account is still active, so you can upload (import) them into whatever subsequent program or service you use.

Loyal Spamarrest customer but NO MORE
I have been a loyal Spamarrest customer since 2003, 19 years. They have been steadily raising their cost over the years...which I get...until now, they have gone from $75 a year to $30 a MONTH. I have no idea where their head is at, but they are going to lose a lot of people!

At least Dick Turpin wore a Mask!
I've been with Spamarrest for a very long time but to increase their fees by 300% is daylight robbery and I will be another customer that leaves when my current subscription expires.
