used to love this when it was full of amateurs and free downloads. people would collab and do mixes. Now its all about the money and big names or fake accounts

Full of adverts that are in excess of 30 seconds each time and they come along all the time. I had a message pop up from sound cloud asking me how likely I am to recommend soundcloud? The answer is 0 and I have not recommended soundcloud for over 5 years of being with them. Things need to change as no one cares about these ads and they seriously get in the way. If you can’t find a way around this then some other company will and you will be left in the dust just like MySpace and the rest of the them.

Junk mail tornado. Began to register for Soundcloud but didn't progress it because no free trial. Within 48 hours, I was (and still am) inundated by junk emails, from foul and offensive to video doorbells. I complained to Soundcloud (and they make that immensely difficult), adding that I hadn't signed up to any other new thing for about 3 weeks, so they were the only source of this horrible invasion. Soundcloud has not bothered to reply.

DO NOT USE SOUNDCLOUD REPOST THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL AND ON A 80-20% deal THAT IS DIRECTLY DISRESPECTFUL FOR ARTISTS !!!!! SOUNDCLOUD IS A JOKE !!!!

I had a basic account which was good for being able to share my music to people I wanted to hear what I was producing. I signed up for a Pro Plan and twice now most of my pictures and write ups, as well as half the tracks I posted just disappeared (the first time I got them all back, am in process with help ticket for second time). In addition, for the second time, they show me as having a basic account instead of the PRO that I signed up for. I have 30 days to cancel and get a refund, but since they don't show me as having a PRO account I can't cancel it. First time I lost everything, I discovered the issue when some couldn't access my links. They wrote back that everything looked fine to them (and at the point they wrote back to me everything was back). So now I have submitted another help ticket (the link to do this hidden so it is hard to do - I needed to reply to a previous help ticket since I couldn't locate the link to start a ticket) and will need to wait probably til next week to hear back from them (since it is now Friday morning). FYI, when the PRO was working, I saw no benefit to me to have the extra service and to pay the fee. The only reason that I gave it 3 stars is that after a few days, the help desk did get back to me asking for some screen shots and then followed up after that, even if it was a bit slow. Also the basic free service works for sharing links of my music with friends and acquaintances, even if it doesn't work well with a paid subscription.

Changing a billing address is the most basic administrative function, yet Soundcloud refuse to let you do this for an existing subscription. The only option they offer is for you to cancel your subscription - but they will not refund you the money you've already paid, or offer you any sort of discount - and pay for a new subscription at a higher rate. So the only way to workaround their inability to change your billing address is to give them more money. If you follow up on this you get sent a generic "we'll put it on our backlog" message.

Bitte schaltet diesen Werbeaufruf zu "Wir bleiben zu Hause" aus & lieber normale Werbung an!!! Nach jedem 2/3 Lied kommt ein 1-minütiger Werbespot dazu und es nervt nur noch. (Ich arbeite selber im Krankenhaus aber) Irgendwann reicht es auch mit dem Thema! Ich höre seit 2013 - also bevor es SoundCloudgo gab und alles noch kostenlos war - auf dieser App meine Musik. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden und habe mich auch nicht beschwert als es anfing was zu Kosten, aber das ist ein fetter Minuspunkt!
