i've reported numerous disgusting things on this website and the moderators have been nothing but nice and have actually ended up removing the things i've reported, even deleting accounts which break guidelines numerous times the thing is though that they're one of the worst websites in general for music artists, they support ai, remove tracks with copyrighted music in them instead of just allowing them to stay up but be unmonetizable (even when they change the original song) and also shove as many ads as possible in your face, if you don't pay for their subscription you get bombarded with popups not to mention the fact that it's a website specifically for uploading music yet they limit the amount of music you can upload behind a paywall which basically goes against the site's entire purpose. they also changed their ui last year to look much worse even though it was completely fine the way it was, speaking of, the ui is also generally really buggy and pages just don't load sometimes. on mobile you get ads which take up the entire screen and even when you exit the app and go back on it the ads persist, completely blocking you from using the app until it's over. it's probably very nice to use if you actually pay for go+ but it's pretty expensive. overall, great moderation, terrible platform.

I rely on SoundCloud professionally as a DJ and music producer, and once again I've gone to access my account on release day only to find I've been logged out for no apparent reason. I'm using the same device I regularly use, and my login details are stored in a password manager, so I know they're correct. Despite this, attempting to log back in simply gives me the message: “Something unexpected happened. Please try again.” If this were a one-off technical issue, I could understand it. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time it's happened — and incredibly, the previous occasion was also around a release day. Release day is one of the most important times for an artist to have reliable access to platforms like SoundCloud. I need to upload, manage and promote new music, and being unexpectedly locked out of my account at exactly that point is extremely frustrating. SoundCloud is a platform I use as part of my business, so reliable account access should be fundamental. I hope this recurring issue is investigated and resolved.

I 'Like' SoundCloud BUT,,, I can't stand when it comes on automatically in my car when I don't want it on. If i had it on the day before it continously thinks I want it on all the time, pressing 'Remove does nothing, it will still come on. So because of that reason I rarely listen to it and play my music through 'other brands'.

I regret fully entrusting my entire artist account and suffering the weight of trusting the platform to own and serve my entire music catalogue as the only entity on the entire internet. soundcloud has never honoured their revenue sharing agreement, addressed serious issues with management and labelling of data they possess, nor been truthful in maintaining a support line.

Ich nutze diesen Dienst erst seit wenigen Wochen als Pro aber die Browser bzw. App Anwendung nervt schon jetzt. Es sieht so aus als würden Menüpunkte innerhalb kürzester Zeit verschwinden bzw. auftauchen. Oft landet man wieder auf der Seite die zum Registrieren der Pro Funktionen auffordert obwohl ich die schon habe. Inhalte und Nutzer werden nicht als KI gekennzeichnet und auch was die Zugriffsstatistiken angeht bin ich mir nicht sicher wieviel davon echt ist. Alles sehr undurchsichtig und ich bin gespannt wie das noch weiter geht.

Excellent site. What lets it down. When you try to upload art work that you spend days making. So it’s 500% my own work. Thay reject it says not to upload pictures that I don’t own the rights too ????? I then up load copyright. Paper work giving myself permission to use my own work. They still reject it ???? Another one I did. Has. Squiggly lines to represent writing they rejected it because the writing was not visible so I replaced it your straight lines maybe reject it again said it was copyright to someone else else sort out the paperwork and again they rejected it. I even did an image Google search and there is no other images anything like mine out there it’s so how can they say it’s not my artwork?????????

The platform's features seem to be pretty nice and helpful especially for emerging artists but when it comes to reality, they are more time and money consuming rather than making your stuff grow, and their support team ain't no trustworthy.

I've been on SoundCloud for over eight years, and even pro artists used to say it was great. I've connected, personally, with some musicians I really enjoy, and have had a chance to share my own musical creations. However, the last several months I've been running into several problems, and support is NON-EXISTENT. Their own documentation tells you to do things you can't do to fix errors, so I submit a report and wait (and wait, and wait - it's been a month now, still no response). On top of that, someone is now trying to scam me and use my music illegally, and their pages and bots literally won't even allow me to submit a report. They promote and promote and promote their subscriptions, yet just take your money and run. I'm on a Pro trial right now, and they still can't be bothered. No doubt I will never give them a cent. They don't care about artists, they just want your money.
