Soundcloud is a great website for sharing music with others, but their service- dare I say- is horrible.
4 months ago. my Soundcloud account suddenly disappeared. I have checked all the help forums on how to get my account back. Nothing. If you need to post a problem on the forums, you need an account. I sent 3 emails to them. All three replies were automated and were about something about not being able to reply quickly due to COVID. I have waited 4 months. Either Soundcloud is a sick company ran by bots or the people working there are not 'working'.

Listen offline Go+
Do not subscribe to Go+. They charge you and you cannot listen offline. Or they end your subscription when you are able to listen offline. It’s a mess. You contact support, takes them 2 weeks to reply and you end up in a loop, but no solution.
I just gave it a final try, same old: subscribed, but cannot listen offline.
And no they do not do refunds.

My account automatically renewed…
My account automatically renewed payment for another year. I contacted support and was told sorry we have to charge you. This is even after I told them my company went out of business and I have no money. I disputed the charge to Wells Fargo and they would not back me either. Terrible customer service especially when during this time people are hurting. Stay away.

HORRIBLE SUPPORT.
Never have I seen a company offer worse support than this one does. My account is (still) being charged twice by default. Have contacted their twitter; just a bot redirecting you to the community help. Useless. Contact their e-mail; left unresponded for 7 days. Can't create a topic on the forum either. SCREW. SOUNDCLOUD. Back to Spotify.

Wasted Potential
I have been an artist for seven years on this platform, and when I first began, it was easy to get access to a broad audience thanks to groups, reaching about 70 views, and maybe a few likes for each track.
Now it is a service for the typical, "I cannot be rivaled by newcomers" artist and "send in your track in here, totally not a scam" sites because they thought that groups did NOT reach out to a broad audience.
Their Pro service is profoundly irrelevant and a big waste of money. It gives zero benefits for ANY newcomers or semi-large artists, as they expect you to pay each month for their service, which you can earn money on, but taxed 20% of your income. Everything from the Pro should just become accessible to the artist, as most of the stuff promoted doesn't change anyone's ability to develop better. Then if a user gets to a certain level of popularity, they start earning money, with a progressional revenue tax that ends at 20%. The best part is that both parties benefit from that type of system. The small guy doesn't have to worry about his revenue tax until he reaches a more substantial level. SoundCloud will earn 20% of all significant artists revenue, and the small guys can grow to a considerable artist who SoundCloud can then benefit from in the upcoming future. As my grandpa ones said, "Let the apple tree grown, though do remember to nurture it. For in the future, it will grow strong and then nourish you with its delicious fruits, as thanks for your commitment. Then repeat." An applicable saying for parenting, farming, or any company.
SoundCloud+ should be the ONLY service people should be paying for, which is a 100% fair as it functions as a Patreon in support of their website and the artist that uses it.
The website was good until they decided to be a worse variation of Spotify, with a glorified upload button. SoundCloud had the potential to become YouTube large as in, "we let you upload for free, you get a massive outreach if your good, and earn money while doing what you love."
Waisted great potential to be worse than Spotify, not even mad, just disappointed.
