They give away the music for free. Then CHARGE the creators of the music to post it. 7eu per month. If all the musicians refused to post their music, they wouldn't have a business. They should be PAYING the MUSICIANS for the use of their music, not CHARGING them for it. It's completely upside down.

I pay 132€ per year to publish music on the streaming services. I own full monetization rights for my music and toe have YouTube content ID enabled. Very frequently when I made a release and place it for review at Soundcloud they object with the complaint that I have to disable the content ID. Now many of my songs are live but without content ID activated. I am being disadvantaged by Soundcloud and when I try to get the content ID enabled they refuse it. Before putting albums for review I check a checkbox to confirm that I have full rights, but they decide for themselves that I don't have these rights. Soundcloud sucks and you should not publish your works through them, unless you want to run into walls that should be there in the first place!

Terrible terrible terrible! That's why it's dying and not making money! Customer support is zero! No answers for weeks. Second major issue- totally unfair treatment of top tier and lower tier artists (although in the beginning it was supposed to support the independents first). Example, was part of the Diplo remix contest and although Soundcloud is filled with versions of remixes of that track, somehow they take mine down indicating copyright infringement although there are tons of remixes with the same vocals all over the cloud! Honestly utmost frustrating. And response I get from SCloud, contact the label LOL! Sorry but it is not what it used to be! Migrate!

Jeg vil sige SoundCloud er udmærket sted at smæk sit musik ind på for dele med andre Men når man som person selv mixet alle sine toner sammen man har købt og betalt at de fjerne sit musik og melder tilbage at de fjerner denne sang fordi det kopi er for dårligt Jeg skrev mail til SoundCloud og fortalte at jeg som bruger af programmet selv mixet alle toner sammen og sang På mit program fl studio og spiller keyboard og guitar selv Men har os tusinder af toner som Jeg mixet sammen Synes jeg er forståeligt sendt dem hjemme sider hvor jeg har købt og betalt for de sager og jeg synes det var dårlig reklame med de fjerner mit musik når jeg selv laver det osv Siden har jeg ikke oplevet det med de fjerner musik men stadig kun 3 stjerner for de ku forbedre deres ting :)

Zelfs 1 ster is al teveel. Het is een schande dat je zo beperkt bent in het aanbieden van jouw muziek via Soundcloud, op Spotify, Apple en Youtube. Ik vraag me af met hoeveel geld ze op de achtergrond weglopen. De opbrengsten zijn niet eens voor mezelf, wel voor een goed doel. Soundcloud profiteert van zijn abonnees en beperkt je om je content te delen op de streamingsdiensten. Typisch Amerikaanse hebzucht. Waste of money, ga geen abonnement aan met hen.
