Total scam! They have been charging me 2x subscriptions for one account, I emailed support and have been ignored

Update: 5-17-2024 Things have been improving, some of which may have been operator error (me). In at least one case, I had somehow entered the same track twice, which appeared as two different tracks, but with the same name (not sure how this is even possible). Anyway, I did correct that . . . in another case, I wanted to change the version number / description of a track, but for whatever reason, that particular web page could not activate that process, but then, received an email a few days later, acknowledging this and had it changed. So, as a paying pro customer over many months, for the most part, Soundcloud has actually been good, their beta updates are still a work in progress (?), but is still a good service to work with. =================================== previous review: 4-10-2024 I've been a paying pro customer for many months, but recently they're having some strange software problems. They've been trying to launch a "beta" version. In my "new beta" account management page, some of my tracks had lost ALL of their plays (???), others were suddenly "locked" from public view, which I then manually opened again. There were obscure old tracks that got mixed up with the most recent (and relevant) tracks. Of course, I tried reaching their "service", from which there still has been NO response. I like the general concept of SC, some of my tracks have received great support, but they should focus on making their current version as functional as possible, not venturing off into creating a buggy beta version with yet to be relevant additional features. The current "old" version seemed to be working just fine . . . maybe not perfect, but for what it is, it's fine. Parting thought of the moment . . . the AI bot that tries to "solve" whatever question is being asked, is unbelievably inept, kept sending out "help" articles that completely missed the point of what was being asked, and, how surprising, never have heard back from any actual humanoid lifeforms. Of course, if SC does actually respond to any of this, and maybe help solve some strange issues, I'll happily update this review.

I thought I'd give them a bad mark, but I was surprised by the amount of dissatisfaction. Soundcloud for Artist has deleted all my releases and doesn't get back to me to explain why. I'm going to stop my subscription and delete all my remaining tracks. Avoid this site, I recommend Bandcamp instead. UPDATE: the reason is "fake stream or bots". Just when I started gaining royalties. They are thieves, they stole the royalties. Soundcloud Gop Fu*k yourself : )

Soundcloud macht für die Next Pro Artists eigentlich zu wenig bis gar nichts... Alleine das Monetarisieren für einen Song benötigt über 2 Wochen! 2 Wochen!!!! Manchmal auch länger. Das ist einfach zu schwach. Die Support Antwort dauert auch gerne mal 6 Monate... Auch als Next Pro User. Naja, wers mag. Ich bin noch dabei werde aber so schnell es geht zu DistroKid wechseln. Werde es auch nicht mehr empfehlen. Schade eigentlich, aber SC ist für meinen Gebrauch als Artist völlig wertlos. Ich frage mich wie es da anderen Künstlern wohl ergehen mag.

Nur ein Sternweil Warum muss ich für Musik bezahlen und mich nach jeder Minute neu Anmelden ich bin ehrlich gesagt bisschen Enttäuscht Und Das gleiche wie Spotify Die Musik spielt nicht mehr ab wenn ich was anderes mache z.B. Zocken 🎮 und Musik hören bin Extra auf SoundCloud umgestiegen aber ich steige am besten auf einer anderen wieder um und höre nur abundzu nur noch hier solange diese Propleme bestehen bleiben Achso und warum dreht ihr denn Nutzern Werbung an gets noch? Alles bitte verbessern weiß nicht ob ichs weiterempfehlen soll

love vibing to tunes on sound cloud but your adverts are really awful. You keep advertising school teacher jobs. Now I hated school. Still do. So to have to hear about it every 5 minutes bring backs the nightmares. And having your own adverts is just even crueler its like dangling food in front of a hungry person. Just sickening. Stop pumping adverts out and go back to how you use to be spending all that vc cash
