Det er umuligt at komme i kontakt med support ved SoundCloud. Jeg har haft forskellige tekniske problemer - men kan stort set kun komme i kontakt med deres robot tjeneste. Jeg benytter deres pro abonnement, så det er faktisk et dyrt abonnement for en tjeneste hvor der stort set INGEN hjælp er at hente når der opstår problemer. Jeg skal have fundet en anden tjeneste til at distribuere mine sange ud til feks Spotify m.fl.

What is wrong with soundcloud? What is right about it would be a better question, dont get me wrong the artists are all incredible wonderful people, its just so sad the company we are keeping is so dreadfully woeful, I’ve been with soundcloud for many many years as a next pro and artist pro artist uploading new tracks every week and Ive studied it comprehensively, its not good for artists at all!!! The stats and numbers are constantly manipulated or straight up always glitchy, the promote on sound is a total fail (even if you meet the criteria) the support is basically non existent, theres a chat bot named otto, which can be very obscure in its responses, the platform is basically dead, plays and views are dreadful even with hi quality productions! They marginalise (shadowban) all fantastic new artists from real promotion and only promote label artists! Everything they are saying and doing for new artists is actually a lie! They pay new artists a fraction of their worth, even though the value new artists bring them runs into the hundreds of millions, basically they're greedy lying and ripping us all off! Prove me wrong!!! You can’t!!! Ive been keeping a screen record of every interaction and email (I'm a recording artist its what i do, i record everything as legal evidence) id love to hear Soundcloud’s reaction and response to the truth, however, i know how they'll react already…crickets chirping in the night! The fact they haven’t claimed this page on trust pilot speaks volumes about their integrity & commitment! I have a lot of anonymous listeners worldwide under many personas that track my every move in music and i do not run across the same nightmarishly deceitful behaviour with other similar services that actually have integrity. Seriously start posting your music elsewhere, because i promise soundcloud is in the ditch of obscurity. Ive been a music label & indy artist long before there even was an internet!!! Nothing works on soundcloud the way they say it does on their webpages and never has!!! I got an email two days ago from them saying they’re downgraded my account even though its a yearly fully paid top tier artist pro subscription that doesn’t expire until next month! Incompetence much?

I started with the free version, which was just about usable though the interface is clunky. I upgraded to the Pro plan for distribution, and that’s where the problems started. Uploads are extremely slow, and every track is manually reviewed by SoundCloud’s hidden moderation team — each review takes three days or more. One of my completely original tracks was wrongly flagged as a “remix” and rejected, with no clear and true explanation. There’s no way to contact real support; everything is hidden behind an unhelpful AI chatbot that prevents you from raising a ticket or speaking to anyone. Refunds of the Pro sub are not entertained, and there is no human accountability. Overall, this is a frustrating, slow, and defective service. Avoid SoundCloud Pro — it wastes time and offers no meaningful support or value.

ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION! There's supposed to be an edit button on your subscription plan where you can cancel it but there's not and you cant contact sound cloud!

I registered and paid for Artist Pro. The first (new) song I wanted to distribute (without any info) was accepted without any problems. Then I did the same with two songs that I recorded years ago and had submitted even then to Sabam for protection. I added the proof from Sabam, as well as the email with the singer's permission and her contact details, noting that those two songs had been on Soundcloud for years (8 and 3 years)! One of them was even the original, sung by me at the time. It took me hours to prove everything again and again in every possible way. In the meantime, both songs had already been rejected six times because they were considered AI, and I was asked for permission from the performer, a beat license(?), any sample license(?), proof of ownership... There is not a single note of AI in those songs. I only changed the sound using MIDI. I made everything myself before the existence of AI. Time and again, I sent all the information I could in pdf, only to receive a rejection with the same unjustified demands. It seems that my explanations and evidence are not even being read, and I keep getting the same automatic responses. I also had the robot (which doesn't understand a thing) create a ticket several times, but this only resulted in virtually the same emails. No human contact whatsoever! Very frustrating, infuriating, and scandalous, actually, and money for nothing!

Works great from the listener point of view. Once discovering new music from indie makers, try to support them with getting their things and what not. Hope indie artists get paid from the streaming service.

Soundcloud laat niet toe dat je account verwijderd en blokkeert tevens ook je account dat je wil deleten. Dit betekent dat je muziek illegaal kan gecopiëerd worden als je er geen copyright protected opzet. Je muziek wordt niet beluisterd en geblokkeerd als je geen account upgrade zodat je geld moet betalen. Dus bescherm je muziek altijd met copyright protected en blijf er van weg. Ik kan nog niet eens met mijn kritiek hierop mijn account deleten. Dit zijn maffiapraktijken van de hoogste graad
