I love everything about the curated pieces chosen by the company. I love the funky styles and the african inspired names. They seem to be really responsive to their customers and our input & ideas and that's rare. They are pricey BUT they have Afterpay so problem solved right? I am happy with my order and I'm certain I'll be ordering again because nowhere else has such unique pieces.

They curate the cutest items but unfortunately the supply chain has too many hiccups for my liking. It took a very long time for the items to arrive (about 1 month). When I got my jacket it was too big :(. I haven’t even bothered with trying to return it.

They buy all of their stuff from ALIEXPRESS and then mark it up an extra $50. I will say they curate unique pieces, but everything can literally be found on ALIEXPRESS

Hi Vesper! It's true that you'll find some of our products on AliExpress and this is because we work with merchants who work with other businesses too. We have no control over our partner merchants' relationship with other businesses - nor do we plan to lock them into an exclusive relationship with us - so they're free to deal with other businesses who decide to sell on AliExpress. It's also true that our products' prices may be higher than other marketplaces or those that you'll find on Ali but we can absolutely guarantee that our products offer advantages you won't find in lower-cost alternative. Generally, we try to keep our pricing tied to the overall experience with souk+SEPIA and this includes but not limited to better technology and customer service for our customers. For example, when you buy stuff on AliExpress, and a question about your order or delivery comes up, you will most likely, 90% of the time, deal with non-English-speaking business owners where language barrier is going to be an issue. We've got you covered on that and we made sure that any questions that you may have are dealt with resolved where there will be no "jam on receive".
