Healthcare is confusing, exhausting, and nearly impossible to navigate. Solace provides you with an advocate who takes on the toughest parts of the system, so you don’t have to do it alone. Solace advocates find doctors, keep providers coordinated, fix insurance issues, and handle the paperwork that gets in the way of care. We'll pair you with a dedicated advocate who supports you one-on-one for as long as you need help. Advocates bring an average of 16 years of experience, and they've helped over 200,000 patients and families nationwide. All it takes to get started is a quick intake call. One of our licensed physicians will get to know your healthcare challenges and pair you with an advocate who's the right fit for your care.

Ghosted TWICE NOW
I knew it was too good to be true what a disappointment. Its been a terrible trigger, just like trying to see a Dr.
Another layer added that somebody else makes $$ off of while I absorb more "just die already you useless loser of a patient, nobody cares"
What the fk ...weeping
First call to get into program an hour late, second call waited an hour but nobody showed, then I find out they quit. Which matched the Glassdoor reviews and reddit review threads I dove into while waiting
Third call canceled bc overbooked
This is WITH my actions insurance agent HELPING to make these video call appts.
I was right not to get hopes up. I used to be a nurse. Makes the constant shit care and systemic failure more enraging to me at this point

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to learn about the significant challenges you faced while trying to attend your first call. The repeated cancellations and delays you described are certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We are reviewing our scheduling and communication processes to prevent such occurrences in the future and appreciate you allowing us the chance to improve. Our team will be looking into your case directly to ensure that the appropriate actions are taken, and we hope that you'll give us another chance to show you how much we really do care.

Provider No Show @ 1st appt
I was scheduled for a first appointment yesterday June 11 at 6:20pm MTN time. I was never told who I'd be meeting with, which I found unnerving, as an Autistic person ... I am moat at wase when I know going into a situation what to expect. At any rate, I joined the video meeting and saw a message that my provider was still with another patient and running late and a message asking me to remain available for 10-15 minutes.
I waited until 6:45. 25 minutes I waited. The provider completely missed the appointment, simply did not show up, and then I left the video meeting. I then received a text saying, "Our physicians were with other patients and couldn't connect today ... that's on us. Let's get you rescheduled here" with a link to reschedule. And since I was never even told who the provider would be, I don't even know who was responsible!
If I no-show to a doctor's appointment, I am typically charged a no-show fee because that provider's time is valuable and another patient could have been seen if I had simply canceled properly, thereby opening up the slot.
In this case, it is the provider who no-showed on me. My time is ALSO valuable. I spent 25 minutes holding my phone, afraid to navigate away from my phone screen, lest I lose the meeting access, bored and waiting and unable to do anything else, AND growing increasingly irritated.
I will be contacting my insurance provider Monday to ensure they are not billed for the appointment, since it did not take place.
Additionally, the text message I received regarding the matter afterward was flippant, dismissive and disrespected my experience. When something like this happens, it would be far more appropriate to email the patient in question with a sincere apology and an offer waive the cost of their next appointment. "That's on us" is not an apology, it's not accountability, it's not enough, and it's ABSOLUTELY unacceptable.
And honestly, whoever is responsible for these matters ought to have known that. I highly advise that you or whoever IS responsible for these matters rethink not only how your scheduling is handled for your provider's if they are this overworked, but also how to handle how patients are going to experience your services and how patients are going to be treated when things don't go according to plan. Remember ... you don't exist to employ providers or send checks to shareholders ... you exist to serve patients and this absolutely did not serve me, a prospective patient, in any positive or meaningful way.
Get your priorities right and fix your standards.
I am, as you can probably tell, not interested in rescheduling with your service at this time. If you can show that your communication (including informing patients who they will meeting with when they schedule) and scheduling have been improved, then maybe we'll talk. Until then, you have nothing to offer me but a sincere apology.
(The above is an email I sent them and the below is a reply I sent to the AI slop they sent as a reply.)
This is obviously written by an AI. How typical. Your company can't even have a real human being respond to something like this. It is becoming more and more obvious that your goal is simply to get me to reschedule so you can make money by billing my insurance and I have no faith in your desire to be a part of my actual Healthcare team or any desire to help me as a human being with needs and feelings and the capacity for suffering.
I am not interested in rescheduling, now or ever.

We sincerely apologize for the deeply frustrating experience you had with your scheduled appointment. We understand your need for predictability, and we regret that we failed to provide the necessary information and a timely, respectful service. We acknowledge the significant inconvenience and disrespect caused by the missed appointment and the subsequent communication and want you to know this is not our standard. Your feedback highlights critical areas where we need to improve our scheduling, communication, and patient care across the board. We are committed to reviewing these processes to ensure such an incident does not happen again and to better serve all our patients.
