Under no circumstances buy a smittybuilt product! Their products are cheap and they don’t stand behind them. They’re customer service is even worse!!!

These bumpers will rust and fall apart with in a few years. And there warranty sucks and will not warranty anything. They say a hole in the rear bumper is not covered under there structual warranty

I bought a bumper winch The powder coating is extremely bad. After a couple years it is coming off, and all rusting. I called, and, they immediately asked me where I lived. Which is in Mass, they blamed the weather here. I explained that my other accessories (rock sliders, bead lock rings) are also powder coated, also in the same weather with zero issues! Ive been told that it will have to be all sand blasted and re done, and, that, it would most likely be more cost effective to get a new bumper whinch

Purchased in April 2024, the zips and straps blew out within 6 weeks. I requested a new cover and was informed that the company is for sale and to call back end of the year and no refund was available, called back end of 2024 and since then they have asked me to call back every 3 months to buy the cover but everytime it is either sold out or not available. Horribly run company with no support for parts and poorly made. It's a shame because the mattress inside is comfortable.

Worst customer service ever. Bought many of their products but never again. Received a manufacturer defective product and they will not stand behind their product.

I purchased their winch set up for my Jeep and quality and craftsmanship was right on point. Very happy with not only the visual aspects of the product, but also the functionality. Round up using it to helpful another vehicle on the trail out and it performed as it should. It was my first product from Smitty built, but definitely will not be my last.

Hands down best customer service experience I can recall. Called with an issue with my 12K gen 3 winch and to my surprise the customer care resolved and sent out the repair parts at no cost. Parts resolved my issue and I will never purchase any other brand winch do to the over the top service I received. Supporting their product shows me that they genuinely care about the customer and the reliability of there winches.AAA+++

They've earned the name "Shittybilt". They sell junk, and when the junk breaks, they have no replacement junk.
