Honestly, they have a very good product. It's a quality product & is easy to install. Well designed too. We weren't locking the gate from retracting, but my 11+ month old son figured out how to open it (smart, like his dad!). Needless to say, we now use the locking function. This is my third gate I've purchased from them, and if the need arises, I'll buy another one.

We are really pleased with our baby gate. It is really well made and pretty easy to operate, even with just one hand. Where we installed it is complicated, with low walls on either side and lots of baseboard and wood trim. I spent a lot of time before ordering measuring and looking at the dimensions on the website, making sure I understood how far out from the walls the gate would have to be mounted. This time paid off, because I wouldn't have ordered enough spacers otherwise. I used more spacers than recommended, but the installation is very secure. If you do the same, bear in mind that wood screws don't usually come longer than 3".
