This is the only food our kitten stops what she is doing to come eat and eats it in one sitting. The change in her breath is night and day. Highly recommend!

The customer service alone is enough to recommend this company! FedEx has misdelivered TWO of my packages, one of them being a Smalls order. FedEx refuses to fix their mistakes, so I texted Smalls customer service to let them know I never got the package. I made it clear it was NOT their fault, and FedEx is liable, however I wasn’t sure who else to contact. They immediately issued a new shipment, and offered 10% off the next box as well as an apology. They turned a crappy situation around and I’m incredibly grateful for their support.

The customer service and support given by smalls is unparalleled. I've used their delivery service four times. I had a slight issue with one delivery, and upon bringing it to their attention, they promptly corrected the issue and took additional action, without me even having to ask. I referred a friend to their service, and I've witnessed her elderly cat who was lethargic and cranky, with a thinning coat, change into a sweet, sassy, active cat, with silky fur. The transformation is indescribable. My own cat has never acted healthier. I recommend smalls to any cat owner who truly values the livelihood of their furry friend.

This food saved my cat's life. At age 14 he suddenly became unable to digest any of his usual food, and was allergic to chicken. He'd lost all interest in food and had stopped grooming. Luckily I found Smalls and opted for the sampler pack. Immediately, he began eating his first meal - heartily - and has revived back to his old self! He's now grooming again and is back being mischievous in his little cat ways! We are now loyal Smalls customers. Thank you for your delicious and nutritious food. I don't think my cat would still be here without it.

We started Smalls in March with a trial run, and went right into monthly delivery when Darvish CLEARLY LOVED THE FOOD. Immediately and unquestionably. Smooth Other Bird/Ground Other Bird have both been huge hits. We look forward to mixing in other flavors/protein types in May. No problems adapting, no stomach upset. We started the usual slow introduction, but he responded so well so fast, we were able to make the switch faster than expected. He's 10. He's eaten raw/freeze-dried since we adopted him at 8 weeks. Measured portions, no dry food, lots of water. He's always been a very healthy & active little Supreme Ruler, with great teeth. Except... he never seemed able to get enough to eat. He was captured from a feral mom. His entire life he has ALWAYS been HUNGRY. As if he has no satiation switch, and eats from a starvation mentality. He is pushy to the point of aggressive about pursuing food of any kind: climbing onto us and trying to eat off our plates or get to whatever is in our hands, and becoming a little Houdini at getting into closed food (boxes, bags, cupboards, plastic containers). We have to hide food in the microwave or oven, and felt incredibly accomplished when we found a bread box he COULDN'T open. Being in the same room with him and eating anything has always been challenging. He goes into visitors' bags if there's even a HINT there might be a muffin in there. I've had cats for many years -- I've never seen a cat with this boundless, ravenous hunger. Our vet thought he would grow out of it when food was a regular daily presence and never "taken away" from him. Mmm... no. As he's aged, a few other things have come up. About 3 years ago, weight started creeping up. He's now 1.5 lbs higher than ideal, with no change in food & portion size. Definitely on our radar, but our two primary concerns were: 1) the satiation problem, since we adopted him 2) regurgitation of food, slowly increasing with age As a kitten he ate incredibly fast but seemed able to handle it. Never regurgitated or vomited. As he got older, he kept eating incredibly fast but began to regurgitate food. That seemed to trigger hairballs. That then became more frequent. We tried a lot of things to address all of those pieces of the puzzle. He never grew out of the ravenous stage. We were at our wits end about having to *cut back* his portions to help him lose weight. We're trying upping his activity level even higher than usual. We decided to focus on the regurgitation issue. I started looking for a "pate" that met the protein and health standards of our current food, which was soft and moist, but not pate. Smalls caught my eye. I'd seen a couple ads, but we paid A LOT for his food and Smalls sounded like it would be even more expensive. Human grade food prepped in human grade environments sounded AWESOME. And EXPENSIVE. I almost didn't want to read about it and get excited, only to find we couldn't afford it. The third time I saw the ad I had to at least check it out. Sure enough, after reading everything, I REALLY wanted to try this for Darvish. So I steeled myself, willing to pay "up" for it but knowing there would be a limit. Only to find that per month, it actually cost a few dollars LESS than his current food! I was impressed. And was impressed with the trial period. And continued to be impressed with the care taken with packaging, shipping & delivery. And then... unbelievably... inside the *first week* we could see a REAL difference in satiation. With him, it's not hard to tell. He is NOT subtle. We were STUNNED. And overjoyed! By now, that was a "long shot" benefit we didn't even have hopes for with a new food. But he has NEVER demonstrated this level of satisfaction with food. And... He is eating SO MUCH SLOWER. He has not regurgitated food ONCE since he started eating Smalls. He has had exactly ONE [small] hairball in ~45 days since starting Smalls (a record in recent years). He appears happier, more satisfied, and *calmer." He already had great elimination, what with eating raw; with Smalls his elimination has remained great, no change at all. Thank you for putting so much effort into your food.

Overall my two cats loved the food. The food shipped very quickly and came frozen. I started feeding my cats a small amount with their old food so they could get use to it. One of my cats loved it immediately. My other cat is a bit picky but over the course of a couple of weeks they enjoyed it and look forward to it. The food is a bit expensive, especially to feed two cats, but the food is high quality and I feel it's worth it.

Smalls provides excellent quality and nutrition for cats, no doubt. After trying for several months, my furbabies never got past the initial curiosity and I’ve had to dispose of more than half down the toilet. That is money and product and effort wasted; sadly I’ll be cancelling today.
