I have been to the Soho location of Skin Spa in the past for several facial treatments and was always happy with the service and results. Recently I returned for a Brazilian bikini wax. I was in a time crunch, purchased a Groupon and booked a last minute appointment which is very easy to do from their website. When I arrived, reception kindly informed me my Groupon was for new clients only so they wouldn't be able to honor it. The receptionist also advised me to pursue a refund from Groupon since this has happened before and charged me a discounted price anyway. This is the above-and-beyond customer service that is woefully disappearing from some many marketplaces. The wax itself was done with supreme professionalism, thoroughness and cleanliness. Truly the best Brazilian bikini wax I have had to date. The entire experience was nothing short of five stars.

The facilities in the Fashion District were okay -- I settled for that location because Soho and Chelsea were completely booked. I was a little bummed out when my massage therapist had awful body odor. It was so bad the stench stayed in the room after he had left. I feel bad writing this but it was definitely a factor in me deciding to not come to this location again.

I had better service in other spas around the city.

I have been coming to the Murray Hill Skin Spa for almost a year. I have always been more than satisfied every time. The treatments are amazing and the icing on the cake is the staff!!! I highly recommend this place!!

I have been to Skin Spa three times this year. Twice to the upper east side, and once to the midtown location. The UES location is best service and I will be staying there from now one. My only complaint would be that when I mentioned that I would like to start treating my forehead wrinkles, the esthetician laughed me off, claiming that they were not that bad. I would have much rather had her professional opinion and perhaps a service that could help treat those spots.

I was really impressed with the BW job that I got from the lady. It was good work and she made me comfortable. I was little taken a back with the policy of the spa to charge their regular customer more than new ones. Loyalty to the spa should come with perks rather than having new customers. I was being told that since I was returnoing customer i would be chnarged more than new customer. Given so many option the city for spa i was little surprised. Overall the person who does BW are really sweet and great job on their end.
