I have gone to Skin Spa for massages many times, mostly because they often offer great deals on groupon and packages. I haven't had any "bad" massages yet, some have been just less impressive than others. My most recent was great - Bo at the Soho location worked on my whiplash and I felt so much better the next day. He also does massage for ijuries at a clinic, which made me feel very safe in his hands.

What are the odds of having the same masseuse from one location went to another and there she is again! Got the deep tissue this time and was way better then Swedish. But I have had better in Chelsea location

Very calming atmosphere, friendly staff however I do my beauty treatments via Living Social because of discounts and my limited budget, I ain't too shame to tell it! So the advertisement stated that I had 3 choices. My choice was Customized facial. So with that said, the professional, as advertise, was to look over my skin and proceed with addressing areas that would help clear my skin. The facial was not results oriented. Having had a terrible expensive run with a renowned dermatologist, (spa on premises), it's taken me over six years to trust the use of spas again. With that said, I was not pleased at all with the customized facial and because of the constant pushing of the professional to use a laser treatment, (against my better judgment) I wasted $100 on top of the proposed discount of a customized facial. Advertising gets me in the door, however delivering on what you offer keeps me coming back or not coming back for matter, if at all. So sorry I just have to call it like I see it. If only had the professional addressed my overall concerns regarding a regime to get my skin, at least free of dead skin, I would have taken you up on the packages offered that day, being it was Spa Week. So now I have to once again begin with having free consultations across the city, to see what establishment will deliver on the services advertised. It's really sad because what I want is not hard to achieve, because foundational wise, I have pretty good skin, it's just that over the years and with aging issues persist. Nothing no more than any other human being deals with, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring. Oh well, thanks for letting me speak my piece.

I was running late for my first appt. and the receptionist on the phone was very pleasant, well mannered and helpful. I got Daria and she was very informative and provided excellent services. Definitely returning for more treatments.
