I had a small delay in shipment due to a part shortage. Customer support was very responsive and kept me up to date on my shipment. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a custom NUC.

Website was easy to navigate. Living in Hawaii is often a hassle to have anything shipping to, but not for SimplyNUC. Their product showed up several days earlier than anticipated..at the Holiday time too. Product was shipped with care, received exactly as configured! Works amazingly! Just what I had hoped for! Good Job all around. Mahalo & Aloha, Greg

I guess I'm called an "early adopter" and for this purchase the moniker fits. I was needing a new PC, and was moving from my work horse Toshiba Laptop (bought in 2012) towards a desktop unit but didn't want a big tower on my desk - or under my desk - or on the side of my desk ... So I went back to looking for laptops. Then ... found the NUC on the Intel site and then found Simply NUC after that. Now I have my NUC - custom made just the way I wanted it and it works well. Very well in fact. I've had a few issues with my NUC, but they are centered around Windows 10 and not a bid deal. I previously had 8.1 and the small learning curve took a few weeks, but now I got the hang of it. I am still amazed at how small the device is !!! It's about the size of a PP&J sandwich ... :-) I recommend Simply NUC because they answer the phone on the 1st one or 2 rings and always have the right advice and/or solutions close at hand. I would recommend Simply NUC to a friend. Angelo

This is a fairly stream of consciousness review so... from first impressions: After ordering a specific prebuilt NUC (Hades Canyon : D ), the customer service reached out to me and explained they ran out of this particular model. They offered me a slight performance upgrade for no additional charge and I think they expedited my shipping(?!). That’s great. They got in front of the issue and resolved it. So on the customer service front, they were great. Performance wise, I’ve only had the NUC for roughly three weeks and it’s primary use is in an electronic lab environment as an interface for integrated circuit and board testing and prototyping. It’s very compact for the hardware and the minimal footprint works well with the space constrained bench environment; I rarely hear the fan rev, even when running many different CAD (Altium, PSOC Creator) and productivity tools (Anaconda, Excel, Word, A million chrome tabs) in parallel. In short - for my use cases, I’ve yet to feel myself hitting a performance bottleneck. In an ideal world, I would’ve waited a few months or a year for the next generation of Hades Canyon. I can only speculate that it will probably offer even more performance in a great form factor. The only trade off is that it is fairly expensive. But I don’t think I could build an equivalent system with the same form factor. And given the engagement of customer service, perhaps the price is warranted.

Asked for a computer to install the OS on a SSD and include a backup HDD. However, after receiving the system and after installing few software application, noticed the OS was installed on HDD. Returned the system and asked to image the OS with installed software to be used to rebuild the OS on SSD but when I received the system again, the software applications were not installed. Called and explained the situation but I was told that I needed to contact the software developers companies and ask them to fix the problem that would have cost more than the price of the new software to fix. Also, was told there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. So, I end up purchasing the software again that cost me hundreds of dollars.
