All was good except 1 of the drives was not pre initiated and formatted

I like the product but had to put in aftermarket hard drive and RAM since what was available was far more expensive. After 7 happy years with my old machine it was amazing to see the superior graphics faster response time and it takes up, maybe 5% of the space my old full tower took. I hope to get another 7 years out of my NUC as well.

Product showed up really fast. I ordered it with Ubuntu installed. So basically, I plugged in the power, monitor, and a wireless receiver for mouse/keyboard into one of the front USB ports. Then just pressed the on button. It started up. And that was that. I was a little concerned to see if the wireless mouse/keyboard would work right out of the box. My past experience with an older NUC product was that a BIOS change was needed to get a particular USB port to work properly to do this. Not this time. It's a quick little box. I'm not doing anything overly intensive with it. At least not yet. But having just set it up, the OS loads fine, the browser works great, Bluetooth drives my external speaker system just fine, both the wired and wireless 'net connections are fine. I haven't had to re-configure a thing other than the default password. This unit's purpose is to drive a 2nd screen near my main work computer to run personal stuff I don't want on my main work computer. I don't really have room for a whole extra tower or large chassis. This tiny box sits in a small slot in my desk hutch. Looking forward to having the convenience of this 2nd screen.
