Purchased the mobile hotspot and 40GB plan. It's fairly straightforward to setup, I suggest purchasing it through a retailer like Best Buy so at least you can get your questions answered and receive a refund if you have an issue. The Simple Mobile Customer Service is AWFUL. The customer service representatives have such limited knowledge, most of them are not native English speakers and difficult to understand. They'll disconnect the call if they don't know the answer or simply don't want to be bothered with doing their job. Do not use Simple Mobile if you'll need any form of assistance from their customer service department. Trust me you'll be disappointed and looking for a refund that you're unlikely to get.

Don't use this company if you value your time or sanity. The serivice never worked for more than a day at a time. Finally ended up returning the device, but out of money for the service purchased along with it. AGAIN, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS THE WORST EVER. I DON'T EVEN THINK THEY LISTEN TO A WORD YOU SAY, WHEN CALLING. JUST READING OFF THEIR SCRIPT.

Simple Mobile has most dishonest customer service reps of any company. They repeatedly charge me monthly **without** authorization and will not stop charging me. The website repeatedly refuses to log me in saying invalid captcha though no captcha was offered so we cannot stop charges that way.

The phone service is TERRIBLE. My calls and texts get jammed up a couple of times a week (basically meaning that while whatever traffic jam is getting sorted out in the cloud, I don't receive phone calls or texts, nor can I send them. Restarting my phone does not help, and customer service is a wash when it comes to solving the problem), which has caused me to miss several important messages AND prevented me from reaching out to people when I need to. You know, the absolute basic things that a phone should be able to do. Unfortunately, I can't transfer my phone to a new service until I've used Simple for a full calendar year, as my phone is locked, and they won't unlock it until a year has passed. DO NOT GET DRAWN IN BY THEIR LOW PRICES. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. April can't get here quickly enough (when I can finally leave this trash service)

It took 10 calls the first time to port my number (from their service) to a different phone a Moto G. It took another 10 calls on day 2 to get the voicemail to work, Can't understand them, I was hung up on several attempts. It was only when I gave them the IMEI and SIM card number of the new phone that I was able to get the service restored and the VM to work. I had to suggest the SIM and IMEI number to them.

Its a decent phone company but make sure to read before you buy a device from the phone might be SIM locked/Carrier locked but overlay a 5 star cause there phone lines are cheap just read before spending your hard earn money thank you SIMPLE MOBILE.

Purchased add on data and they charged me even though they never provided the data. When I called customer service they would put me on hold and then just hang up on me. Typical Verizon customer service. They will take your money for devices and not provide said services.

Customer service is a joke they don't have a clue how to help you with anything they think if u shut ur phone off then turn it back on it will magically fix evedything!!I swear they don't take anything in from any of their phone calls because everytime I. CALLED with an issue they read the script from the computer screen like a robot the actual service is good as long as u don't ever have an issue. Concerning anything that goes wrong u will be ok!! Lol...no lie !
