The matching was clearly random, distance and faith background were not honoured. Beware closing the account is not easy, keep track of your registration emails. Access to your account is important to be able to close it. The support team were unable to find my account or email address despite sending me over 99 messages of introduction! ( I have kept their reply emails) I Successfully closed the account, but only after recalling where I had last actually used it! Just to pay for my membership. Hence keep your initial emails. It was an experience in flaky introductions, you may find your match, but good luck if you try. I closed my account after 3 months well before renewal time because I found the experience was so dire, I tried changing preferences but it made no difference. I have used other sites before, and with those easy access to my account was always possible.

This company is a great big con. They don't allow you to set your distance at less than 50 miles, which without transport is ridiculous. They don't supply many matches. They have not taken into consideration the restrictions of lockdown and offered a refund accordingly. They have met their contractual obligation and is near impossible to get in touch. Don't touch them with a bargepole.

Obviously the reason why so many people want to leave is because this site is inefficient and useless. SilverSingles didn't work out for me and many other people according to the reviews. I suspect they actually don't aim at providing any dating services. They are focused on overcharging you and keeping you on automatic renewals until you notice it and start struggling to stop them from doing this.

On the site for 3 weeks and had contacts from 3 scammers - very unsafe site !! Refused to refund. How did these guys get my site if they only get referred by Silver Singles? It's not like they could look at all members! So few matches within 100 mile of me . Total waste of time and very scary site.

Very few members. Waited on hold for 35 min 2x and then they hung up. No way to hide profile. this is a very bad site.

I'm truly sorry to those of you who cannot get a full refund. Thank you to everyone's honest review as I nearly paid for a 3 months membership. I will be deleting my profile.

This is a thieving scamming company. DO NOT PAY A PENNY THEY TAKE MONEY FROM YOUR BANK FOR A WHOLE YEAR. Even if you cancel in within the 14 days, they still TAKE YOU MONEY. I have requested a refund loads of times - no response. I am going to ring my bank to see what they can do now. At first they couldnt help until the money was taken out. You can NEVER get customer services. How convenient! I will try & see what legal route I can go down, but I AM NOT GIVING UP till I get my money back. Over a hundred pounds. How much will they get in a day?

I paid for 3 months but cancelled after two days ,asked for a refund NO LUCK even using the 14 day cooling of part . I am now using the next two months to see what comes up so far nothing there's a surprise . Would not advise anyone to waste money here all sounds good then nothing .
