Once I tried to sign up - they said "OOPS... something went wrong - please try a different card". I immediately went to my bank and had already been charged twice. SO... I tried to call their customer service number. There is NO customer service. No phone, all you can do is send a request and hope for an answer. I will NOT give money to a company that does NOT provide any customer service. I'm done supporting this behavior.

Too many fake profiles. Age preference not adhered to. Too many requests for email. Same rejected profiles appearing.

I’m going to keep this real, if you live in London 1 in 30 men on the site are not in London, they live 2/3 hours away. Everyday you are presented with 20 matches, that’s 140 a week, sounds a lot, 1% will not be a match. Silversingles will recommend you adjust your distance and advise “being too strict with your preferences can significantly limit the number of possible matches”. Who wants to travel 50 miles to meet someone. I would not recommend this dating site to friends or another species on another planet. A lot of fake profiles and profiles with no photo.

I liked the flexibility of the silver singles sign-up process. They gather details about you and your criteria for the person you’d like to meet in a broad range of areas, but they keep the required input to just the basics. That gives you multiple ways to tweak/customize your profiles. The deal breaker for me was that the free membership blurs the pictures of the people you match with. That made them worthless to me because I want to see what the person looks like before deciding whether or not to connect with them.

I was widowed after being married from the age of 20 I was married for 40 years I was devastated and just when I thought I could start to pick up the pieces I joined silver singles I have had matches which don't reply even.with a simple hello and then I got a reply who then after 2 or 3 messages deleted her profile and guess what she turned up on another dating site for over 50 and she was using another name then I got another match just the other day without a photo don't know if it was just coincidence as the match was called the same name as the one who popped up on another site will be unsubscribing and posting on social media to beware of parting with your hard earned cash and when it comes to customer service they are in Germany as far as I can gather so dissatisfied and disappointed this was the last thing I needed since I was widowed.

Good pool of candidates - however the pool sent matches that were way over the max 50 mile radius that I had listed on my profile.

The variety of matches you have everyday. Then information available on each potential match along with the easy way to communicate with others.
