Unhappy with my 10x10 ShelterLOGIC uproot-able blown away green house. So is the wife. Customer support did not care and just said to anchor it when I said it was already weighted and anchored so it wouldn’t blow away. It uprooted and did just that and their customer service blew me off without even an attempt to compensate for my loss, time, and materials spent. Many hundreds of hours and a year was lost to a failure of a product. You don’t need a weather man to know which way your ShelterLOGIC Green House will blow away. -B. Dylan

Two days earlier I submitted a review on Shelter Logic and I promised a follow up on my customer service experience. Here it is. So I received an email saying my case was closed. Then S.L. read my earlier review and asked for an inventory of damaged parts to replace saying that when their units “have an accident” usually many of the poles are not damaged. I asked if my case was opened again. L.S. stated they began expediting my case and upon further review discovered “this has been determined to be an Act of Nature (snow) and the warranty is not approved as the unit you purchased is not wind or snow rated.” I was offered a 30% discount off a new unit. So to sum up all the communications, I was offered a new cover, was told my case was closed, then told the case was reopened to replace poles, and finally told that they, their employees, didn’t know that my warranty did not cover snow damage but I could buy a discounted replacement. So beware. Those Shelter Logic garages have collapsed as they acknowledged to me. Mine did. Make sure you read the warranty if you buy one.

We bought a Sojag pergola from Lowes, and it came fast, but didn't have the hardware to put it together. After calling Lowes they told us to bring it back after they contacted the vendor who didn't respond, and a week goes by. Lowes told us to return it, all 104 lbs of it. We wanted the pergola so we contacted Shelter Logic ourselves and asked for the hardware, probably one bag with everything in it. (Shelter Logic own Sojag we found out). Shelter Logic offered to send the hardware, stating they would email when it was on it's way, a week later we called back and no one knew what we were talking about, so again they said they would send it out, lacking confidence we also contacted the parts department and requested replacement parts, they promised to send them out. Another week goes by, and we contacted them again with no reply this time, and another week goes by. So a month later we are sitting here with a useless pergola and the option of renting a truck at our expense and recruiting young men to bring it back to Lowes. They want it back in the original packaging which was pretty battered when we got it, I will take back the pergola and what remains of the box and never buy from Lowes, or Shelter Logic again. We could have built one faster and been enjoying it for weeks now.

Instead of having a five-star they should have a minus I didn't want to give you one star you're applied to my review now why would I want to go out and spend all that money again on the replacement cover when I paid a lot of money for the shelter I live in Akron Ohio the elements aren't bad we get rain we get snow we get sun for what I paid for it it should last longer than what it did to everyone out there it's a rip off it's not worth it if you're setting it up inside your house it might last a while or inside your garage it might last a while but other than that I would never ever buy another one for outside use

My first Shelterlogic garage in a box deteriorated within three years of installation. The top crumbled due to sunlight uv exposure. I ordered a replacement at $275 and was told by the order person that I was fortunate to get three years. I was the told that I could spend about a thousand dollars if I wanted a replacement cover that would last a year or two longer. This is bullsh!t. I just checked my second Shelter cover and found at least a dozen holes in it. It is only a bit older than two years. It is evident that Shelterlogic provides cheap products that simply don't last unless you want to pony up thousands more dollars. Is there an alternative product to those offered by Shelterlogic?

Spoke with customer representative Lynn McCann yesterday morning regarding a floor frame kit for my EEzee shed 6 x 5. Per the instructions, I assembled it and found out it was not made for the 6 x5, even though the instructions said so. Started this project in the morning, (AZ sunshine) and needed assistance from a service rep. Lynn took my phone number, assured me that a representative with more experience would call me back. Never heard from anyone. Had to leave all my storage shed articles outside for the night, too much to reload the shed with until I could get an answer or help. This morning, still no call, so with a drill in hand, re-drilled the holes in the frame to match my shed. Cut plywood to screw down to the frame kit. Lot of extra time spent because of poor customer service and instructions that weren't correct or updated for my shed. Bottom line, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Would never buy or recommend Shelter Logic for any sheds, especially customer support if you need it. It's a good thing that I am handy with tools, the average person would be totally frustrated and return the frame kit. Oh, did I mention, this is my second frame kit shipped from Shelter Logic, first one was the wrong part number, did not even come close to my storage shed dimensions. Sorry to be so negative, however, I lost a lot of time (days) on this project when it should have been complete in one day....

The directions are horrible tell you to put it together then to take it apart to put the cover on (HUH)!!! I'm sure they work but putting it together was horrendous vague directions pour illustrations.just confusing 5 1/2 hours later took it down and apart bringing it back. NEVER AGAIN

Not good at all. Bought the "Alaskan" version and didn't survive the first snow storm long enough for me to get home from work to clear it. Just are attention needy, temporary tents and definitely not Alaskan. Creates mold in the summer for anything porous due to lack of proper venting. 2nd time these have let me down but NEVER again. Lost $600 in 4 months but gonna upcycle the material into bags to try to get a fraction of my money back.
