ShelterLogicReviews of shelterlogic.com

I purchased a Sojag Kiruna and one of the posts had paint that was bubbling. What is worse, their description showed a height at the edge of 84.5" when in reality the height was 89". As a result, it would not fit under my deck roof overhang as I thought. When I contacted support they did little to address this issue. Do yourself a favor and avoid gazebos from this site and their brands.

Purchased 28’ wind and snow rated shelter, didn’t last 4 months both door zippers failed. At 6 months entire structure bent and tore in reported 50 mph wind event. A call to warranty to Northland (where purchased) got an immediate reply” Acts of Nature” not covered. Shelterlogic’s initial response was the same,” Acts of Nature”. This was a wind and snow rated shelter! Both retailer and Shelterlogic immediately denied warranty. They were Truly sorry and offered a 20% discount on a future purchase? Shelter logic did send a new complete shelter, after repeated reminders that it was a wind and snow rated structure.

I purchased the more expensive shelter with a 10 yr warranty and 5 yrs later a hail storm put holes in my cover. And then to find out the warranty is prorated. No where did it say that on my warranty would of never bought the product. Not worth buying better off to buy steel panels. Would not recommend to anybody to purchase this product.

This unit is not able to handle wind. It tore apart and bent the frame. Not worth the 600 paid. Been having to cover it with tarps.

We purchased a ShelterLogic tent in November to serve as a garage for a new car. Set-up was quite un-user-friendly, but we got it up. For a month it stayed up, and then a couple days ago, it got pretty windy here (peaking at 45 mph). One of the metal poles BENT in the wind, and the whole structure failed, caving in and scratching up the new car. We took the tent down and won't ever be using it again. Did not protect car as we thought it would. ***UPDATE (1/4/23)***: ShelterLogic did not provide a refund (only offering a 30% discount on a future purchase (which I won't use)), saying the incident was due to acts of nature. If they use "shelter" in their name, one would think that the structure is meant to offer some protection. It does not. ShelterLogic offers neither shelter NOR logic. If whoever is reading this review is considering getting a ShelterLogic tent, I would recommend NOT getting one. Save your $300 or spent it on a different company.

Bought a shelter logic cover 2 months ago and everytime it rains it leaks. Unreal.

ShelterLogic ghosted me.I have a 10x23 structure. The zipper broke on the side panel within the warranty period. ShelterLogic sent a new side panel out under warranty. The problem is the new side panel is a foot too long. I’ve sent pictures and emails to my customer service rep documenting the problem and he just refuses to answer. I even have measurements of the old panel vs new and sent pictures. It’s too big and they refuse to fix it. I said I’d ship the old panel and the new, oversized pane back to them. I have heard nothing. l do not recommend.

Horrible! I ordered a 20 ft' long carport but received only a 15 ft' carport. The two boxes with the extensions were missing. Shelter Logic and Lowe's blamed each other. Lowe's finally picked up the three boxes that I received and refunded my money. But this took one month. Shelter Logic assumed no responsibility for the mishap and made Lowe's rectify the problem.. I reordered the carport and this time received the correct number of boxes (five) with the correct numbers on them but seven of the roof panels were the wrong pattern and wouldn't fit into the other roof panels. I reported this to Martine Gallant, of Shelter Logic, who referred me back to Lowe's. I explained to her that even if it were Lowe's fault, which it wasn't, that their remedy would be to pick up the carport and once again refund my money. I explained to her thet this was not possible since I had already constructed the frame. I told her I needed her to send me the correct seven roof panels. She never did this and only sent me an email stating that she had referred the matter to her warranty department which is where I started. So I had to construct the carport using seven roof panels that don't fit. I filled in the gaps with caulking. What a mess! Horrible experience.
