I sorry but I need to cancel Shef. I don't have a microwave and I have ruined a couple of your meal containers. Jean Heister
Response from ShefOct 21, 2026
Sorry about the trouble with the containers, Jean! We have reusable microwave-safe steel containers in LA that might be the fix. Reach out to [email protected] and we’ll get you set up before you go!

Great service. Just wish they had more variety for vegetarians. Wish the chefs cooked more for vegetarians and vegans. It is a very limited menu.
Response from ShefOct 13, 2026
Appreciate the feedback! We'll pass along the request for more vegetarian and vegan options. Glad you're enjoying the service overall!

After a few months using Shef, I've learned to stretch the meals further by adding extra rice, frozen veggies and fresh lettuce. Having meals delivered every 3 weeks streamlines meal prep a lot!

We enjoyed most of our new dishes and decided to freeze the ones we did not eat before suggested date - and these were delicious too!

Awesome to hear the frozen dishes held up just as well! Glad you found some new favorites to enjoy now and later.
