I had too many issues with the website, that was the major problem for me. Secondly, the packaging is black plastic so you have to transfer to microwave. Most of the food was really good, but not an easy process ordering, changing things, exploring options and black plastic is a non-starter for me. I don't want heated food placed in it to start, and can't heat in it.

My food was delivered within the time frame provided and packaged well. However, I was disappointed one of my orders for the week was canceled last minute with little notice. While I was refunded partially for the order, it is still an inconvenience to have to figure out another option for that extra meal

Some Meals are ok. Some are dry. I think I will be going back to Green chef. I tried it for my hubby when I was out of town. I could see doing to if I am not there to cook.

I have been a customer for ~5 years and ordered more than 100 times. Based on that experience: Like I have had a great experience with the Shefs. The dishes are authentic, tasty, and priced reasonably. Don’t Like The way the platform is managed. It’s not customer-centric. Things are changed randomly with no advance notice, example, minimum order quantities that were $25 went up to $45, and now $60 with not so much as a courtesy email informing of the change. I used to be a regular customer but now sporadic. A platform that’s not customer-centric is a turn off.

I havent had many meals that I would reorder.

Food hasn't as tasty this time around and the dish selection is always the same

They don't answer a telephone they do not acknowledge an order My food was supposed to be delivered between 3:00 and 5:00 and it's already 6:30 and there's no sign of the food and no response from them. However, in their favor, they did deliver the food although a bit late and decided no to charge me.

I have had a few nice but overly expensive orders delivered. One time the driver misdelivered to the wrong address and a neighbor down the street was kind enough to bring me my food. One time they misdelivered and I was upset to have no food and no way to speak to customer service. I did send an email and they refunded me the next day. As the food gets more and more expensive (as well as how many chefs are sending frozen food, which shef encourages), it gets more difficult to justify ordering from them versus regular takeout/delivery from a restaurant. I’m no longer sure of the benefit.
