I had to explain my problem too many times and I don’t think it has been resolved yet. I was told information I could see for myself and not given any way to solve the problem. But it was all prompt and polite and patient.

Driver left the bag in apt lobby as opposed to coming up to my door and hence I now have to empty Shef bags.

Im bummed I can only choose sun ,mon,or Tuesday delivery and I work overnight so sucks I have to wait for my food and sometimes they come late and I go to work sleep deprived

We have been loyal customers of Shef.com ever since they started their service in DC. We absolutely loved the variety of ethnic food to choose from and the diversity of excellent shefs from around the world! But we are very disappointed recently when Shef.com has reduced delivery to just 3 days a week and most of the amazing shefs we loved seem to have left. They are promoting a subscription based service now, the the meal choices there absolutely lack the diverse flavors that we loved. Now we are looking for alternatives on the DMV area.

A lot of trash; I have no use for those red cold bags. Food was pretty good, but not better than a restaurant and almost as expensive, and really not very healthy or fresh (no greens). A few items, like the ribs, were just bad.

The food is overall good. Some hits and misses. My biggest issue is the expiration dates. I order 6 meals a week plus some sides. They arrive late on Tuesday evening and they all expire Friday and Saturday. I order for a week but only get 4 days of usable food and it's resulting in some wasted and uneaten meals.

Thanks for the feedback! Just so you know, the best by dates are guidelines for fridge storage, but all our meals can be frozen to extend their life if you'd like to space them out over the week. That said, we hear you and are working on improving freshness windows!

Shef is really useful for folks who are busy but don't want to live on take out -- it is a bit more affordable, but many of the "meals" are not full meals but rather just proteins, and there is a great inconsistency in portion size that can catch you off guard/messes up planning! Finally, having used this service almost weekly for a few months, im frustrated that there is little change in the menu offerings

Not enough choices for Los Angeles area, and portion sizes vary a lot - would be great to have a standardized „lunch” options . There are some good meals and some „meh” .. I wish the taste was always exquisite but it’s not
