This is probably my fifth or sixth time on Sesame. I had forgotten my prescription on vacation. My usual Dr doesn’t seem to work weekends, so on Saturday at 10:30 am, this Dr really helped me out. Fast appointment—he called me 10 minutes early. No fuss. Vacation back on track. Thank you Sesame. You have really made maintaining my medications so much easier.

The provider was excellent and gave good recommendations about whether I should take medicine and how I should get it.

This was the first time I’ve used Sesame Care but not the first time I’ve used telehealth. I made an appointment and saw a PA for a UTI. I had already taken a home test which was positive for a UTI. The appointment went smoothly and he said he was calling in a prescription. This was at 10:30 pm. The next morning I received a text from the pharmacy that they were working on it. Then another text saying they needed to confirm info with the doctor so the prescription was on hold. That was at 9:00 am. After visiting the pharmacy at 2:00 pm, they said they had not received a call back from the doctor. I tried messaging Sesame through their online chat and got nothing. I ended up calling 3 times, speaking to someone each time and getting no where. The third person told me to contact the PA directly! They would not cancel and refund and couldn’t get the information of the supervising doctor to the pharmacy, which is all they needed to process the e prescription. It’s now near 7:00 pm on a Friday. No response from the PA in the online form. No help from Sesame. No prescription. And no refund. I now have to find a different doctor tomorrow and pay a second time. Stay far away from this service.

I have been going to Melissa now for several months. She is the BEST doctor anyone could have. She really cares about patients personally, and always takes the time to hear and address concerns. I am so grateful to have found her.

I am really enjoying sesame. I had a really bad UTI and able to see a care provider via virtually in a few hours and got the medication that I needed without going to urgent care and fussing with co-pay. The service and company has really changed my past traumatic experiences with healthcare. Care providers take time to listen and give you a chance to talk about your symptoms and listen, in the privacy of your home. I love this care model and have been telling everyone about it.

This was an emergency service to get my script refilled until I found a psych in my town. However, I don’t need one now because this platform exceeded my expectations and I feel comfortable with this being my primary psych. This service has been so wonderful, and my Dr. is awesome. Thank you to whoever made this platform.
