Super easy and I got exactly what i needed! Michelle was super kind and efficient. I was a little nervous for my first telehealth call but she was super easy to talk to and made everything much more comfortable.

The time spent with the doctor went pretty well. I was able to get same day appointment. And, she was helpful. The user interface was terrible. Tried booking an appointment from the Android phone app, a Windows laptop, and a Chromebook. Took over a dozen times before process finally got through all the pages needed to book a time. I was just wanting to get some labs done since I haven't had any for many years. I reported this in the initial request. I had researched blood work and knew exactly what I needed, based on previous doctor visits. I knew that Sesame would not evaluate the results. I just wanted the prescription and then, if needed, I would take the results to my doctor for analysis and treatment. The Sesame site said I could either pay for the labs through them or take the prescription to my own lab and get my insurance (Medicare + supplement) to pay for. I tried both options in the ordering process. However, when I chose the Sesame option, it said they had no contractors in my area. Well, I know there's a Quest Labs less than a mile from me. So, I don't know why I couldn't pay for the labs through Sesame and then take the prescription to Quest. However, I was left with the option that let me take the Sesame prescription to my own lab. Which I tried. The lab I took it to told me that Medicare would not reimburse for those labs because Sesame did not include the ICD10 codes required for each individual lab. Sesame prescription had just the CPT Codes and lab procedure name. So, their prescription became useless to me without the ICD10 codes, as I wasn't going to pay over $500 out of pocket. I had reported, in the Sesame initial questions, that I would be using Medicare. So, Sesame telehealth visit, which cost $65, became totally useless and wasted a couple hours of my time at the Lab for nothing.

Samantha Turcotte, DNP Was very professional, thorough, and efficient about seeing what was wrong, determining her actions, and prescribing the necessary medication. I was very impressed and this was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Samantha!
