Hi Jean, At See's we produce several different types of chocolate confections. To produce products with the desired sweetness and texture we use cane and beet sugar and/or corn syrup. We do not add high fructose corn syrup to our products however the cherries that we buy do contain a small amount. We continue to use recipes first developed by Mary See and corn syrup has been used as an ingredient since See's Candies was founded in 1921. We appreciate your feedback regarding the use of corn syrup and will forward your comments to our Director of Product Development and Executive Board for further review.
