Absolutely ridiculous what they charge for shipping. See's Candies is less than 30 minutes away but I had surgery and decided to bite the bullet and just order. The tracking information shows that it will take over 14 days to deliver??? Seriously?? For almost $16.00 in shipping costs they could have used 3 day shipping and still made money.

Candy is great, but delivery is terrible which impacts the quality of the candy and misses important celebration dates. Deliveries are running days late, with melted ice in hot weather and compromised candy. Wrote Customer Service and received a "nice to know you had a problem email, which is disappointing given the amount of candy I've purchased and the ongoing issues. Definitely impacting any decision to purchase. Disappointed with this company after being a loyal fan.

As I read earlier reviews with low stars, I see our recent experience: candy arriving in bad shape, and then the nightmare of trying to get a refund. My husband sent emails to their customer service starting 12/22/24, waited on a phone call for 27 minutes while they said there was something wrong with their system, and then sent yet another email that wasn't answered. I messaged them on Facebook where they finally said they'd act on it. Fifteen days ago (12/30/24) they emailed my husband that a refund had been processed. We still haven't received it. Update 1/15/25: reimbursement issued with an apology and coupon, coinciding with complaint yesterday to Better Business Bureau. Appreciated, so have changed number of stars.

Online promos for online orders to be shipped as gift won't process. Error code after error code. Amazingly when promo expired order goes right through. Seems 2 out of 2 separate instances. Good luck reaching by phone

I recently purchased Sees candy after not shopping there for two years. It is definitely not the same recipe that they started out with and it is more expensive. Will not buy from Sees again. I’d rather buy from Godiva chocolates or somewhere else where I know that I’m getting quality product and not a water down version of what was once a great candy

I don't really eat candy anymore, but when I do its See's. I am so disappointed in the company. I know prices are going up but $32 a pound?!! This is almost rare gem prices. I only eat a few varieties that they sell. I wish I could count on not being robbed for a few pieces of delicious candy. Mostly, I have had a good experience with the quality. There have only been a couple of times when the candy tasted a little stale. I went to the downtown San Francisco location to get what little I could afford and a very rude woman with ratty, multi-colored hair "helped me". I have never had such an unpleasant experience at any other location in the 40 years I have indulged in this company. Please get these prices and the weird looking/acting employees in order or I will have to give you up.

See’s candy WAS the best chocolate ever especially for the price, hand picked and wrapped. Now at $32 a pound, chocolates are mostly fillings with a thin coat of what dies nort seem to be Guittard chocolate anymore! Very disappointing with this stellar institution going just for profits. Will buy hershey’ s in a bag from now on for a fourth if the price. Sad reviewer here. Been eating See’s for over 50 years.
