TLDR: Amazing end to end service. My goods arrived as they were. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks to Gloria(SDC), Timothy(SDC) and Frankie(Eurogroup). Very pleased with both SDC and Eurogroup and would highly recommend. Relocated from California, USA to London, UK. First time I did something like this so I was worried about finding a service to help with the move. My first contact was with Timothy when I requested for quotation then once we were ready to get the process going Gloria was my point of contact. They were both great and communication was smooth, whether it was phone calls, zoom, or email. What I found valuable was transparency through out the process. They were able to answer any question/concern I had. Second was the packaging of the goods, the folks on both sides of the pond made sure everything was well packaged and handled with care. On the US side it was SDC and UK side I worked with Eurogroup which SDC put me in contact with. This is not on the cheap side in comparison to other options I was looking at during my move. Personally, I would rather pay and sleep at night. Moving is already stressful as it is, having a service that's trustworthy was a priority. Side-note: If you're moving into the UK, look into getting relocation waiver so you don't pay for customs for your belongings.

I've been shopping around for a moving company for my goods and contacted SDC International Shipping. One of their employees, Timothy Toon, reponded promptly with a questionnaire detailing my move. I completed the questionnaire the same day regarding the items to be moved. This was October 20th, 2023. Six days later, no response, so I pinged him. Twelve days later, still no response. This company is useless. I don't see why they've gotten a good rating, unless it's from their friends and family or others who have a vested interest in their business. On Nov. 3, SDC replied "We apologize for your experience but we do not have any record of your calls" and provided a US phone number to call. Since I live in Europe, that's a long-distance call for me, as SDC knows. I wonder why they couldn't provide an email address for support like everyone else. Update: On November 3, I finally heard back from Mr. Toon. It turns out that, according to his message, he had had a bout of COVID-19 that knocked him out of commission. He gave me the bid I requested and I'm satisfied now. Pity he or his manager hadn't gotten anyone to sit in for him while he was recovering!

Great follow up

Making a big move from LA to Australia. There are lots of unknowns and regulations, and Timothy at SDC has been fantastic. He has answered all my (many) questions and has put me at ease with his professionalism and knowledge. Walked me through all the requirements and worked hard to get me the most competitive quote. Looking forward to an easy move with these guys.

After we contacted the company's representative Timothy Toon, he was able to give us a quote for the move which was acceptable to us, to schedule next day (!) pick up of our moving items, all within the hour, and made what had seemed impossible happen. Thank you SDC International Shipping.

Great initial contact with SDC. Very helpful in providing all the information needed to ship things to another country. My initial contact was Tim, who was well informed, helpful, responsive and very accomodating. (Will update this review after i receive the shipment)
