There is a new employee every month at the Omaha branch. One of the newer ones who is a brunette older lady is extremely rude to customers.

Employees have no authority to do anything but read off a script. Five business days to transfer and have money-$12,000- available from linked TD bank account. Spent 15 minutes on the phone including an escalation to a manager, nothing could be done, no suggestions to freeze existing balances, put the balance on a credit card, switch to wire ---- nothing. No sense whatsoever to try and accommodate a customer, only condescendingly repeat how they do things. Better customer service from a high school kid at an ice cream stand.

The worse broker on planet Restricting my account and will not release my money. They are terrible last week I was told my account had a restriction placed on it due a review on my account. Was told to Verify identity and ownership of account which was done. I was told 1-2 days for my account to be reactivated. Now a week later still nothing. I requested for my account to be closed and my funds returned to my bank account. Nothing have I heard back. They are crooked and shouldn’t be in business. Only went with them due to being long time TD customer and was forced after the merge.The reps also give false information or simply don’t help you much at all. Have complained to Finra and SEC awaiting update won’t stop untill I have my money out

Over the years I have had pretty good experiences with Schwab. A few years ago they did have a problem with their international accounts where we could not move money from our US bank accounts anymore, but they got this sorted out in time. They answer the phone quickly and generally make good sense when you talk to them. They are one of the best brokers I deal with.

I had an inherited Ira. What a mess. Took weeks to get it straighten out and transfers to a real broker. Then then email about a non market security that is 20 years old and make we wait hour on phone to close it after dealing with multiple people. They tried to be polite and courteous but don’t think they know what they are doing. Really wouldn’t recommend.

I would not wish support of this company against my worst and the most disgusting business I’ve ever witnessed. Compromising my account in my opinion, along with locking me out and requesting documentation that they never had in the first place. My phones are being held without my consent along with, individuals working them out of my account.

C.S. reflects balances less in the mornings than nights before. A lot of $$. Never had missing/loss $ with years at TD. Reps are nice but give me different reasons: calculates incorrectly or will update next day... Something is really wrong. Which company can I move to??

I did a distribution here's the problem. When I tried to do it online it gave me errors so I had to call. I specifically gave the agent my account information and read it back several times and she still put the wrong account number and now my money is sitting in Limbo or as they said well it was probably deposited in the wrong account so it could take several weeks or as they also said there's no guarantee that it will be returned. I have called on several occasions and where's my money it's still not in my account. So if you want to know why you should not use Charles Schwab if you have to call them they will get it wrong every single time your money will show up missing and there's no recourse on their end because they keep saying that oh I'm so sorry that that happened to you but we are do everything in our power to get this right and it's already been two and a half weeks and I still do not have my money.
