ScheelsReviews of scheels.com

The sincere, courteous and professional interactions with folks at Scheels is an absolute breath of fresh air! I really can’t begin to explain the level of help and sincere support they give their customers! I will be a customer for life, contingent on them staying true to the customer service values I’ve already seen! Thanks Jesse in Fort Collins, what a wonderful experience I’ve had with a return ! Absolutely painless and enjoyable!

Hey Dudes don’t come in a box or with anything to keep their shape. They are but in a bag and tossed on the truck. Mine came pretty mushed up. Oh well, lesson learned.

Awesome help in the shoe department. Great cashier.

I ordered a Work Sharp Pro Knife Sharpener and had an issue with the order when it arrived. I contacted Customer Service and talked to Abby in Fargo, and explained the problem and what I thought would be a good solution. She got right back to me with a different, yet very acceptable, solution. I want to commend her for having such a cheerful nature, for her good listening skills, her efficiency, and expediency. The world needs more Abbys!

i signed up for their card to get the discount and was handed coupons, none of which were scanned. I failed to notice, that is on me... but I was unaware that they used a coupon to apply the discount, i figured it would be handled at the check out. I live 4 hours away in a remote rural community. Now I have to spend 60 bucks in gas to have this made right. Very uncool.

Let me start off by saying I love Scheels and what they stand for. I have spent $1,000's of dollars at their store over the last couple of years since they have been open in Johnstown. This is a specific review of the Golf Manager at the Johnstown location. In May I purchased a set of golf clubs for my son at the CO Springs location for $1,200. When purchasing the clubs the CO Springs manager said they have a playability guarantee ( Scheels touts a customer satisfaction guarantee) and if my Son doesn't like the clubs after playing them for a few months then bring them back for a full refund. We specifically asked as we were on the fence about the clubs and worldwide golf shops offers a 90 day guarantee no questions asked. Well, after two months my Son figured out they were too much club for him so we brought to the Johnstown location for the refund. Long story short Johnstown golf manager said no way he would do that for us. He said he would be happy to give us an offer for the clubs and said it would probably be around $600. If I didn't like the offer I should drive the 2 hours and take back to Colorado Springs as he said he would never back a golf product like that or make any guarantee. Of course I was very frustrated and called the CO Springs location and golf manager at the CO Springs location said we are happy to take care of our customer and bring them back for your full refund. Bottom line is the Golf manager at Scheels in Johnstown is a snake and an arrogant snake as well. If you need to buy golf clubs in the NOCO area, go to a local club or spend the time to drive to another location that takes care of its customers. I will continue to shop at Scheels in Johnstown just will never spend another penny at this location's Golf Department. Sucks to have such a bad taste in my mouth for such a great company.

I have only been in one store..impressive but their commercials are NOT appropriate for Iowa.. they show hunters spreading either salt pellets or apple treats around area..that's illegal in Iowa and should be noted.. hunting is a sport but Don't cheat!!!

Two years ago I brought my Mathews bow in to have a new string and cables put on and when I went to pick it up the bow was at 80 pounds. This is a 60 pound maximum bow so they did something completely wrong putting it together. Second time I picked it up it shot OK but after two years I noticed weird wear on the edge of one of the cables. Upon inspection the cam looks crooked so I took it in and they could not figure it out. They said they were sending it to Mathews for them to look at it. I picked it up today and there were new limbs on the bow and I thanked them and took it home. After looking at the bow closely the cam is still as crooked as when I took it there the last time and they did not fix the problem. They are supposed to be bow techs for Mathews and so far I am not impressed. I will be going in now again to see if they can get it right. When I go the the Scheels website I see words used like excellence and expert but I have not experienced any of these attributes when dealing with their service department yet. I have shot this bow 23 years and did not experience any of these problems until I started dealing with Scheels bow tech people.
