I placed an order for three Lego sets for over like $400 only to receive this package and my front porch that was practically was opened and looked like somebody's didn't package it correctly or used a razor blade to cut straight through the tape but I'm glad at least I have my items but I would never use this company again

Very disappointing online shopping experience. I ordered a pair of Nike Pegasus 41 running shoes from SCHEELS for $127.64. The website allowed me to place the order and everything appeared to be confirmed. Then, after I had already placed the order and expected it to be fulfilled, SCHEELS simply cancelled it because the item was supposedly out of stock. If an item is not actually available, the website SHOULD NOT allow customers to purchase it in the first place. Inventory mistakes can happen, but accepting an order and then cancelling it because your inventory system cannot accurately track stock is poor e-commerce execution. Customers may stop shopping elsewhere once they believe their order has been successfully placed, which makes this more than a minor inconvenience. The refund is being issued, but that does not fix the wasted time or the bad experience. SCHEELS needs a much better real-time inventory system.

I ordered a $180+ pair of shoes from Scheels and they arrived loose in a shipping bag with no original box, discolored soles, and an unpleasant odor. They appeared to have been previously worn or returned. When I contacted customer service and provided photos, I was initially told the Route fee would not be refunded, meaning I would actually lose money for returning merchandise that arrived in unacceptable condition. After I pushed back, they agreed to refund it, but offered no other resolution. I expected much better from Scheels, both in the condition of the merchandise they shipped and in how the situation was handled. Very disappointing experience.

Have been trying to purchase a pair of shoes from Scheels for 3 weeks. Not only did their website mark the shoes I wanted as "in stock", but they had multiple pairs. Not seeing them in stock at the Johnstown location, I drove 2 and a half hours to the Colorado Springs location for a pickup order just for them to tell me it was in a random box in the back and unable to be grabbed. I asked another employee, who clearly saw the shoe in stock on his tablet, and he couldn't find it either. Placed a pickup order 24 hours later and received a refund EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE SAID PICKUP AVAILABLE TODAY! Why have an online inventory system that just isn't correct? 60 bucks in gas and a shameful ride back to Fort Collins.

I've been trying to place a $2000 order. With the order I wanted to apply for a Scheels credit card. Did everything it asked and nothing but error codes. Why do they have a website if it's impossible to order, just makes potential customers upset. I'm going shopping somewhere else, probably Cabela's.

Got two different shoes. One Hoka Clifton 10 and one Hoka Clifton 11. Then it became my problem to return the shoes and get a replacement. No $10 gift card, no apology, nothing. I was kind of in a hurry to receive them in the first place and had to wait until mine were returned for them to ship the replacement, even with pictures of the mess they caused. Will never shop there again.

⭐ Minn Kota Terrova: Brand New, Yet Somehow Always in the Shop If you're considering a Minn Kota Terrova, our experience has been one long demonstration of why people are moving to Garmin. We bought a brand-new boat with a brand-new Minn Kota Terrova, and this trolling motor has been garbage basically since day one. Almost immediately, it started making an awful, obnoxiously loud noise anytime we ran it above about level 5. So, back to Scheels it went with almost no hours on it. Their solution? They “cleaned it up.” A nearly brand-new trolling motor. Cleaned it up. Sure. That sounds completely normal. Unsurprisingly, the noise came back. Except this time, it was even louder. We contacted Minn Kota directly, and they instructed Scheels to replace the lower unit. Minn Kota told us the lower unit was in stock. Scheels then took THREE WEEKS to get it. Three weeks. For an in-stock part. Fine. The part finally arrives. We bring the trolling motor back to Scheels, and then it proceeds to sit there for almost ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. It took daily phone calls, repeated pushing, and several rounds of “it’ll be done in the morning” before we finally got any movement. After enough chasing, it was eventually finished Tuesday afternoon. So let’s recap: Brand-new trolling motor. Problems almost immediately. First repair accomplished essentially nothing. Problem comes back worse. Three weeks waiting for an allegedly in-stock lower unit. Almost two more weeks sitting in the service department. And repeated phone calls from us just to keep the repair moving. For what these trolling motors cost, this is absurd. A premium trolling motor shouldn't spend more time being diagnosed, “cleaned up,” waiting for parts, and sitting in a repair shop than it does actually trolling. This is exactly why people are going to Garmin. At least those appear interested in performing the one basic function a trolling motor has: WORKING. Minn Kota Terrova? Based on our experience, I would absolutely not recommend one. At this point, ours has basically been a very expensive shop decoration with a propeller.
