Very easy and convenient ordering

The livestock is generally healthy and their customer support is very good.

First time I ever bought a live fish online. The shipping was fast but very disappointing. I wrote a specific location to put the box behind a planter so it would not get taken. My wife watched the fed-x driver run up our driveway shaking the box and didn’t follow the instructions at all. The box said live fish all over it. I don’t hold this against saltwater fish.com but it concerns me for my next purchase. I will buy other products from this site but I might avoid a live fish or coral in the future. The online process was easy and prices were pretty good.

I placed a large order specifically so I could add an upgrade package that included a Mandarin Dragonet. The Dragonet died overnight, which I notified customer service of promptly. Customer service chose not to do anything about this, citing that the Dragonet was part of the upgrade package and therefore not covered by their guarantee. I understand that the Mandarin was part of the upgrade, but the fact that no offer for any form of recompense at all was made (slightly reduced price for replacement, reduced shipping, anything at all) is unacceptable and indicative of a company that does not place customer satisfaction as a number 1 priority. I have been in this hobby for over 10 years and not once have I experienced a company or LFS that handled a matter with such little regard to the customer.
