Worst customer service ever. 13 doa animals and a DOA coral i didn’t bother to try and get money back on. The amount given back won’t let me buy anything lol it’s a joke really, like yall fudged up, not me. Why am I paying 35$ shipping again. I lost 13 animals and have to spend another 20$ just to buy a 21$ item when reimbursed 43$ and some change. See how that can look like terrible business?

If there was ever a place not to order your salt water fish, it would be saltwaterfish.com !! They sent me the wrong color goby and said it was the one I ordered - NOT The fish are half the size they advertise. Just say "NO" to placing an order from this place !!

My 3 fish that were ordered departed California on 7/1 in the early evening and did not ariive at my home via FEDEX until 4:45 P.M. the next day. All 3 died witin the next two days. What is worse is that my own fish, began to quickly die. the only thing that kills fish that quick is velevet. I lost 7 of my prized fish and because I didn't stop to take pictures they won't even talk to me. Had I known they were trans shippers I would have never ordered from them. I thought they were a great company back around 2000. They sure have disappointed me recently. Compare their prices with other livestock e-commerce sites. SWF is exceptionally high. This is not just an opinion. Check for yourself. Closely check their arrive-alive guarantee. It really has some horrible stipulations when you get credit for losses. Those stipulations ensure you are disadvantaged twice. Adding insult to injury if you look closely. I was once their loudest fan. Not at all lately.

You ship fish in tiny tiny bags and they simply suffocate by the time they arrive. This happened twice and is simply cruel! You may have saved a few dollars on shipping but you’re ruining the hobby for the people like me! Very sad and very unfair to the animals you suffocate with your shipping practices. How do you expect a fish to survive being shipped in a tiny bags overnight! A child would understand it cannot survive and you are adults doing this to the poor fish! Horrific!

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the livestock, customer service, and offers of deals and free shpping. So for, not one diseased fish, corals look good, etc. If you happen to get a D.O.A or short lived item, they honor their warantee.
