Use Sage for orthodontics at your own risk. What was supposed to be a 3-year orthodontic treatment has escalated into over five years of headaches and additional costs. Ultimately, it will necessitate an additional $8,000-$10,000 for restorative work, beyond the initial orthodontic treatment costs. One would expect flawless teeth after 5 years, yet I am now seeking a different provider to fix the issues caused by Sage. I feel like I'm starting all over. When I started it was just cosmetic and now I have real issues effecting my health that need to be fixed. Initially, their corporate office consented to finance the majority of my necessary repair costs due to their flawed treatment plan. However, they are now demanding thousands more dollars. I was never even upset about the issues I've had with my care because things happen and people make mistakes but I can't deal with shady business practices. This company is not to be trusted.

I asked your office manager Karen to allow me to pay cash even though I had a Humana contract. She said that I was "committing insurance fraud" and she refused to allow me to pay in cash for the services that I wish to have rendered! I am a medical professional and I've never been so humiliated and insulted in all my life!

DO NOT USE any dentist that is run by Sage Dental! They run their offices like a fast food franchise. They have no customer service! Have called many times and no one ever answers to explain suspicious bills sent to me by them. If you submit a claim on your dental insurance they send the claim to your Health Insurance. And when the Health insurance denies payment they send you the bill. Additionally a nice young receptionist at the office told me. They will send you a bill regardless and if you pay it and the insurance company pays them. They will not reimburse you. Along with “useless junk fees” included in the bill. Their offices are riddled with disgruntled dentist because Sage treats them poorly. Their turnover for dentist who employ in there offices/dental practice is alarmingly high. Find a dental practice run by an actual dentist who cares about their patients. Sage Dental only sees you as a $ sign not a patient. Stay away!

The crown they made was bad and had to be done over . I was told that I would get the lower rate if the insurance did not cover but after my cleaning they told me I needed another crown and even at the office I was told it would be $700 but after sitting In The dental chair I was told it would be $1261 . I was in shock . All they said was sorry news to us corporate not giving the discount rate if insurance doesn’t cover it . I said no thanks very unfair and unprofessional.

After scheduling my first appointment Sage Dental Colony Plaza at The Villages, I received innumerous reminders by text and email, including a couple on the day of my appointment. However, when I showed up at the front desk, I was informed that my appointment "had to be moved up" and they could not contact me because there was a problem with my phone number, even though I had received messages from them reminding me of the appointment just a couple of hours before. The receptionist told me that the next available appointment would be a month away. They never told me the reason why my appointment was cancelled. Reading about other customers experiences, I'm thinking I was a lucky my experience with them ended before anything really bad happened. Should have read more reviews before scheduling my appointment!

Just put it this way a lack of communication between the dentist and the receptionist on my services that needed to be done. And still alack of communication with me.. and I still walked paying $1,200 for crown that didn't need to be crowned and the tooth that needed to be pulled didn't get a crown or an implant so I'm walking around with the tooth that's missing in the front of my teeth and a crown that doesn't match my color that didn't need to be crowned. Totally Wrong Doing ...

I have been to a lot dentist over the years due to fever I had as a baby and my adult teeth did not come in. I came to Sage Dental on Beach St. Daytona Beach FL. to get my rest of my teeth pulled and have some dental surgery done the dentist who did the procedure was excellent and very professional sorry I can't remember the dentist name. Then I started working with General Dentist Rawi her and her assistant took a lot of time to make sure I ended up with a perfect pair of new dentures! The rest of the staff there are very friendly and professional.

Steer Clear Of Sage Dental! They told me my Insurance would cover the work with the exception of my co-pay. But when the insurance company only covered a certain amount I paid the rest out of pocket, in advance. Each time I paid the out of pocket in advance. Then, once all the work was completed I received an additional bill of almost $600.00. Clearly this company is out to Rip-Off everyone. 99% of their reviews are a ONE!
