Showed up for my 15:00 appointment 20 minutes early, at 20 minutes after I left. Never called back or updated on my appointment status. Terrible, Terrible service. I wont be going back.

I have United dental Who pays for my cleaning with nothing extra, however Sage managed to charge me $85 for a fluoride treatment which I refuse before my cleaning. They keep sending me a bill for $85. This dentist is a total rip off don’t waste your time going to Sage Dental. They did the same thing to my son and charged him over $3000 for work, he never even got, they took $400 out of my debit card without my permission in Lake Mary. I would never recommend Sage Dental to anyone they should not be part of any insurance plans. I plan on calling my insurance company and reporting them to whoever needs to know about what they are doing Renee Batiste

This is a scam. I just walked out. I needed to change dentists due to an insurance change, so I came to Sage. They wanted to charge me $844 for a cleaning with insurance do to my many “dental issues.” I had no dental issues with my previous dentist a little over six months ago.

I called Sage Dental, located at 6171 N. Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308, on Oct. 18, 24 to set an appointment as a dental provider listed in Devoted Health provider directory. The office has giving me an appointment on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 3 pm. An email confirmation of that time and date was confirmed. I arrived at the location at 3:00 pm and my name has called. As a Technician had ran x-rays on in different head positions. After the x-rays the dentist came to exam my teeth (Christel Torres Quiroga, DDS). Then another African young lady came and told me she was the Hygienist and she is waiting for the office to verifying my insurance benefits. She showed me a treatment plan with additional fees for additional service I did not request and not covered and paid by my insurance. I asked her and, other employees involved in the discussion, that all what I need is just the services approved by my insurance plan which are all with 0 copay. She told me that she would have to clean half of my teeth at that time and the other half would be cleaned in another appointment (3 month after). Many office employees tried to persuade me to make payment from out of my pocket. I insisted I need only the service provided by my insurance. They refused to serve me and I had to leave without getting the cleaning done. I will not use or recommend this office again. I will file a complaints.

Stear clear of Sage Dental. They took over Avalon Commons Dental in Orlando Fl and it has been nothing but a cluster. From not answering their phones, scheduling issues, blowing your phone up with texts/emails on appointments even when appointments have been cancelled and rescheduled they still blow up your phone and email with the wrong scheduled dates. And when you call and IF you get through they will argue with you insisting I have an appointment when I rescheduled that appointment to a different date and then insisting I have 2 appointments when I cancelled 1. AND A simple request for an itemized receipt of service I had done took 5 (struggling to get answered) calls, 5 different billing reps 1 1/2 hours of my time and still couldn't provide an itemized statement of services. Only 1 billing rep Yvette Soto (extremely unprofessional) repetitively sent the wrong receipt until finally sending the itemized statement. These Reps will argue with you insisting you are wrong and they are right when they are clearly WRONG. They will drop calls, pass calls from front desk back to billing. Billing Manager Lydiana will not follow through with the call and pass onto to lower reps. Very poor customer service ALL the way around. Save yourself the hassle unless you enjoy BIZZARO WORLD !!. DO NOT GO WITH SAGE DENTAL!

I visited the office of Sage Dental of Hallandale Beach. The front desk lady Sharon was polite and tried to help me, and the lady next to her was rude. I waited for the doctor for over an hour, and he went outside and talked on the phone and even after that I waited another half hour. After such disrespect for patients, I spoke with the office manager and she said that this is normal and waiting for the doctor for more than an hour is also normal. After such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment, I was forced to leave Sage Dental of Hallandale Basch. I categorically do not recommend visiting this office

I had an appointment from the office in Brandon, then I discovered another office right down the street in Bloomingdale. I changed the appointment to the other office and now they won't take me at all. Everyone was rude and possessed little knowledge. When I was given directions to the Brandon office, I was told the office was "across the street from the mall". In trying to figure it out, I was able to finally determine that it is actually in the plaza next to Outback!! Across from the mall is a mile down the road. I'm glad things worked out how they did, as this dental company has nothing but terrible negative reviews. I would recommend skipping sage dental, for all reasons..
